Does that mean that they both ate the Mera Mera no Mi at the same time or that Sabo ate a devil fruit that's similar to the Mera Mera no Mi?

Because if its the second one I have an idea that might work. Maybe have it be that Sabo at a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit based on the Fire Bird from Slavic folklore?

As cool as Sabo having a Zoan type fruit would be, I don’t know enough about Slavic folklore to do adequate justice to their creatures. I agree that would be awesome though, Sabo and Marco bonding over being fire birds lol

But the middle child in me was thinking.. what would be the best thing i could give Sabo, a fellow Middle Child? Something that would piss Ace off to no end. Especially since Sabo doesn’t even really use his fire powers all that much, so used to his weapon. His fruit is the Fire-Fire fruit! He can control, produce, and manipulate fire. But since it’s not a Logia, he isn’t able to become fire straight up like Ace can. He can try though! He’ll figure it out!

And this way each brother gets a different type of fruit so they can fight about who’s is better (Obviously Luffys but they wont ever WILLINGLY admit that)

Ace: I have the Flame-Flame fruit!!

Sabo: AWW that’s so cool me too!!

Sabo: uhhhh I have the Fire-Fire Fruit it’s your fruit but better
