My client is ALWAYS working hard on his transformation, and here is a #CoreSculpting move you may not have thought of, to challenge and TRANSFORM your core to the max! 💪🏼😀🙌🏼 LOVE THESE!!! ✨ Tag a friend that would like these, give them a try, and let me know what you think! Remember, your CORE is the foundation to everything you do! Whatever you do, don’t neglect it! #TransformationTuesday #SoreToTheCore #PallofPress #CherylNormanFit ✨ You don’t need to do a bazillion crunches to build a strong core. Planks & other isometric core stabilization exercises can strengthen your core muscles, most times far more effectively than pumping out 3 sets of 50 crunches/sit-ups. The anti-rotation isometric hold of the Pallof Press will develop a stable core. It helps build core strength to prevent injury through the sudden twists & turns of sports & activities. This extremely simple looking move will strengthen & tighten your abs & obliques in addition to the interior core muscle stability it provides. All you need is a resistance band or a cable machine. Hold the handle or the band in both hands against your chest. Stand or kneel with your side to the cable machine with feet or knees hip-width apart. Step away from the base of the band or cable so it becomes taut/without slack. Engage/stabilize your core, pull your belly button in towards your spine, lock in place, & press the handle out with both hands until your arms are fully extended in front of your chest. Hold in this position, resist the pull of the cable or band & don’t let your torso rotate towards the machine for 5+ seconds, then slowly bring the handle back in to your chest. Do your reps facing in one direction, then turn & stand with your other side to the machine, & repeat. Another way to challenge your core is, instead of repping out the Pallof Press, instead hold in extended position isometrically for as long as you can. Try for longer durations every day. Another way to add difficulty is to narrow your stance. Move your feet closer together to create more core instability, & more work for that torso! 💪🏼🙌🏼🎉 Song: Zombie by @badwolvesofficial (Do not own the rights-just 😍 it) Band: @thexbands https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn4kxJMBgQs/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=bv6i5mvgcgrr
