I haven’t ignored any of the requests sent in so far — I do plan to get to them, so don’t worry!

However, so I don’t overwhelm myself even more, I’m going to start again slowly, with simpler things. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and love ♡♡

So yes, requests are still open, but I’m prioritizing (and very grateful for) the simpler ones, just until I recover completely.

I have seen a looooot of posts about how Regina’s entire life can be interpreted through a queer lens and they’re RIGHT but also can we talk about Emma for a second? I don’t think Emma would ever admit her feelings for Regina. There is a reason she put so much time and effort into even liking H00k and pursuing that life despite how clearly miserable she is.

Think about it; girl spends 28 years wishing for her parents to be in the picture, just to find out they’re royalty. Monarchs. There is no doubt in Emma’s mind that they wish for a “traditional values” type family dynamic, and while they have never given her any reason to think they would love her any less, do we really think Emma would risk them seeing her any differently? She had already been an outcast her whole life, and despite what actually happened, a large part of her feels as tho she was abandoned because she wasn’t good enough. She needs to be the perfect daughter, regardless of what they actually expect from her. And perfect daughter means perfect husband.

Yes! There are a couple of scenes in trsom.

Alec looked at the photos as they floated by. One appeared to be of Magnus on a flying carpet over a desert. The next was of Magnus at a ball in Victorian clothes, waltzing with a coldly beautiful blond woman. Another showed Magnus with his arms around a handsome older man’s shoulders. Alec leaned forward, squinting at it. He thought he could make out tears on Magnus’s face.

ALSO I NOTICED SOMETHING REALLY INTERESTING!!!! 

Look at these two scenes. 

I’ve been watching you a long time now. Demons can feel pride. We are rather good at it. My son, I am proud of you.” 

A hollow space in the center of Magnus’s chest hurt. Long ago, it would have meant something to him to hear that.

“How touching,” he said at last. “What do you want? I really don’t think it’s a hug.” 

“I want you,” said Asmodeus. “You are my most powerful child, and therefore my favorite. I want your power in my service. After all I’ve done for you, I want your loyalty.”

Magnus started to laugh. 

“That’s a good one,” he said, wiping away tears. “When have you ever done anything for me?”

“You’re quite wrong, you know. I am the most permanent person that you will ever meet,” said Magnus, his voice breathless with laughter and his eyes stung a little by tears. “It is only that it never makes any difference.”

In both scenes, Magnus is crying - but he is also laughing!! If you read these scenes, it is quite clear that Magnus is in A LOT of pain.

I feel that when it gets really bad and when he is really hurt, Magnus just starts laughing to pretend like they are tears from laughter and not sadness and pain.

1. Did you think would get a bigger reaction/audience than it got:  This is tricky af. I genuinely can’t complain about lack of audience, there are many wonderful people who for some reason not only like, but also comment/reblog my stories here 🥺

Buuuut, okay. I’ll say Think Again - this might be because I like bodyswap fics and because it’s one of the most popular stories on AO3 that has... around ten notes if not less at each chapter. Probably because it ha no pairing, but come on! Matt Murdock and Steve Rogers? And it’s actually funny I dare to say...

Also - Traditions Kept - it’s a fluffy Christmas fic, am I the only one who likes fluffy Christmas fics? 

2. Got a better reaction than you expected: A Cup of Truth or Homecoming - I remember being unable to get the words out with these two challenge fics, but I guess they turned out okay then 😊

3. Is your funniest: Probably A Cup of Truth, ironically enough. Maybe Ground Rules (for Love and War) ? And the beginning of Attached for sure. 

And Matt’s mini-series are kinda fun I think

4. Is your darkest/angstiest:  Tall as the Skyline, Roots Like a Tree involves phobias, so I’d go with that one. Other than that, it’s individual chapters only, because I’m a fluff writer... I guess Errare Humanum Est  has its moments; starts with a death of a soulmate, so-

And my Damned series gets pretty dark/angsty at times.

5. Is your absolute favourite: I am not picking up a favourite child, how dare you 😦

6. Is your least favourite: Look, if I really hated something, I wouldn’t have had the courage to post it. I wrote a fic about how it could look when Steve goes back to Peggy when I was in a post-Endgame daze and was happy for Steve getting an apple pie life instead of moving on like he should - but in a way, I’m fond of that one too.

7. Was the easiest to write: ??? Generally anything that gets me into that strange state of mind in which I simply HAVE TO WRITE THIS DOWN THIS INSTANT.

8. Was the hardest to write: I’m not very experienced with writing Bucky, so those, yeah. Walpurgis Night was difficult because of the unusual language, but I was having so much fun I’m not sure it qualifies.

9. Has your favourite line/exchange/paragraph (share it):  My AO3 wordcount reads 1 238 186 words. Some of the words would be considered my favourite, but I cannot for the love of God pick. Sorry 🤷😊

From the latest fic I posted, I kinda like this line: 

... when you usually slept in his embrace anyway, keeping his heart warm while he did the same for your body...

10. Have you re-read the most:  ...you think I’m re-reading my own fics.... really? Uhm, hell yeah I do, shame me for it if you please. Once again, I cannot possibly pick. But I tend to go for sweet one-shots or certain parts of series, but seriously. Depends on the mood that strikes - rather re-read my favourites fror other authors 

11. Would you recommend to someone reading your work for the first time: For a Smile for a one-shot. 

Nothing but the Truth (who doesn’t like the good old Fake Dating AU, right) or the soulmate AU series, ideally whole with the SPN crossover, for braver souls.

12. Are you most proud of:  Ironically, the one that gets virtually zero likes here - my Damned series. It’s been going on for a long time; started as a self-prescribed therapy and every time I re-read something from it, I realize what a testimony of the development of my writing style it is. And mind you, in my beginnings, I had some cool ideas - sometimes it surprises me what I came up with, actually.
