very funny thing about being someone part of subcultural circles and going back on and off tinder is i get a WILDLY different response depending on what photos and framing i use. if i present super goth forward where ppl who r outside of my circles can still say “oh thats a Goth™️” i get SO many bitches (even tho i think those photos are less flattering and represent who i am in a different way since i mainly dress in all black for events). if i present using more my day-to day dark mori/strega-esqe aesthetic, while i get people stopping me on the street to tell me they love my style, i get a bunch fewer matches on dating apps. even tho i get less than the flood of matches i get when i present Super Goth, the ppl who DO match w me when i use more day to day photos tend to message me first more often and are a Lot more interesting, and dont just tell me im cool and that theyd dream abt being with someone like me 🤡🤡

u may have guessed that my cncentration on this book is rlly slipping now so i’m gonna,,,, leave it for now, do some stuff here, etc.
