The healer watched the other woman closely, though she tried not to make her attention too obvious. She seemed...perfectly ordinary, sitting there, at the cafe, minding her own business, a book open before her, a steaming cup of coffee next to it.
And yet...the doctor felt a strangeness, a curious sensation coming off her. It was a familiar feeling, of sorts.I It was one she couldn’t very easily ignore, she thought, even as she drew level to the other’s table and took the seat across from her. Given the nature of her own power, she could sense something different here, yes.Something to keep in the back of her mind, surely.
It didn’t change the fact she had come here to meet this one. “Hello,” she nodded with a smile as she set her purse down on the chair next to her. “I believe we had an appointment.”
