These are the cats who gave Songblaze her nine lives! Most of these cats are ones she knew in life and misses dearly, so it was a pretty emotional ceremony for her.

So uh. That happened. When i scrolled down after seeing Fireflyheart was pregnant and saw that I just sat in shock for a bit. Then i ranted a bit out loud to myself lmao. Also uh, haiii, I live! uh, sorry for not posting for..a hot minute lol. Things got busy and i was strugglin with my motivation. I've got a lotta drawings for this saved up tho! So I'm hoping to post them more regularly :)

Character names and pronouns under the cut.

On Moon 233, Fireflyheart II gave birth to their second litter, however, unlike with their first litter, Songblaze did not come to the nursery until several hours after the birth. This ended up being because she was visiting the grave of Sootpaw, the only girl in their first litter. Sootpaw had died three moons earlier on Moon 230 from a dog after getting distracted following the scent of an unknown cat. Sootpaw's death, being the first of Songblaze's kits to die, has a big impact on Songblaze, and it takes a while for her to recover. After which Songblaze grows more protective of her kin. She doesn't want them to die so young ever again. Nor does she want them to have such bloody deaths, so similar to that partrol where she was the only one to survive...

Fireflyheart waited to name their second litter until Songblaze was there with them. They decided on the names Shatterkit (pure white she-kit), after Songblaze's father Shattertooth, Rowankit (red she-kit with a white underbelly), Bugkit (half pinkish white, half pure white tom kit), Sandkit (off white intersex kit with dark spots along their back), and Ashenkit (blue tinted white intersex kit with a black V marking on ver forhead).

On Moon 223, Songblaze and Fireflyheart have their first litter of kits. They name them Smokekit (grey & white), Sootkit (white with black spot), and Blazekit (orange). They decided on this naming theme since they both have fire-related parts to their names and these kittens where living proof of their love for one another.

This also had the added benefit of taking Songblaze's mind off of the events of Moon 220...as well as giving her an excuse not to sleep in order to avoid the nightmares plaguing her..

So! That happened. I actually ended up creating a whole clan (just called "RogueClan") to pull cats from for events like this, since I wanted them to have interesting designs too and I enjoy the challenge that the descriptions given to me by the modpack I use gives me! It could also be interesting for any kits born with "outsider roots," since if there's a rogue with similar traits I can make them the other parent and come up with lore of how they got together with the clan cat! Below the cut are the names of the rogues and clan cats, and who is who!

Songblaze, the clan's new deputy, has finally become mates with Fireflyheart (II). For many moons the clan's eldest mediator, Blizzardwave, has been trying to get the two of them together, as they'd been pining after one another for so long that the entire clan knew about it. Blizzardwave is very glad they finally realized that they each felt the same way. Blizzard is also now going to take a nap as thon is "too old for this shit."

On Moon 214, Ghoststar lost its last three lives to old age, passing peacefully in its sleep. Ghoststar lost its first life after eating tainted fresh-kill, its second to being bitten by a venemous spider, its third and fourth lives to greencough during a clan-wide outbreak, and its last five lives to old age (two on one occasion, and the last three moons later). Gible is made leader and is granted the name of Giblestar alongside faer 9 lives. Giblestar appoints Songblaze to act as faer deputy. Giblestar does not feel prepared or qualified to lead Forestclan, but promises to try faer best and to make Ghoststar proud.
