Chirpsong- A cheerful and kind tom. Chirpsong always has a spring in his step, and hearing him trill and purr isn’t uncommon by any means, he loves his mate and kits dearly and feels that StarClan has given him a blessed life, he thanks them every day. Chirpsong is very family oriented, he spends as much time with Marigoldleaf and the kits as he possibly can and he is very eager to share queen duty with his mate as long as that is ok by her. Chirpsong doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he is always polite and kind to every cat he meets outside of battle, even if they don’t exactly treat him with the same respect, 15/10

Marigoldleaf - An intelligent and gentle she-cat. Marigoldleaf is quieter than her chatty mate, but no less caring, Marigoldleaf is always polite and considerate of other cats and will often go out of her way to help. She cannot wait to raise a family alongside Chirpsong, she couldn’t ask for a better mate and she can imagine no one better to raise kits with. Marigoldleaf is a great problem solver, and her observations and advice are often called upon by her leader to help strategise both battle and political debate, 15/10

Firekit- A cheerful and curious she-kit. Firekit has seemingly inherited her father’s cheerful nature, she never seems to get sad, even when she loses games or gets told off for poking her nose in places she shouldn’t. It’s hard to keep track of Firekit, she’s always wandering off to go and investigate something, even if its something she has seen before, she wants to know all about the world around her that she can, and she very easily loses track of time, it’s to the point where her parents have made “find Firekit” a game for their other kits to play in order to try and track down their inquisitive daughter, they try their best to keep their eye on her but she’s very fast once something catches her eye, 14/10

Blazekit - A confident and courageous tom. Blazekit takes being the only tom in his litter in his stride, and he is always trying to show off to his sisters and he’s always coming up with games that get increasingly risky as the kits grow, their parents tone down these games wherever they can much to Blazkit’s dissapiontment. Blazekit believes that he is going to be the best warrior ever, and even has his sights set on being leader, something his sisters playfully tease him over, but that doesn’t bother him, he will prove them wrong someday, 14/10

Cinderkit - A gentle and kind she-kit. Cinderkit has seemingly inherited the most caring qualities of each of her parents, she is very empathetic and shows an unusually high level of emotional understanding for a kit her age. Cinderkit is always the one to encourage her siblings the most and is often Blazekit’s voice of reason when he’s about to do something particularly mousebrained. Cinderkit will always try to comfort a cat that she thinks needs it, even the most exhausted warriors after a long day have had a purr put in their throats at the sight of this kit trying to trying to snuggle into them, 14/10

Dawnflower is a very caring and kind-hearted cat and loves helping cats in need. She started out as a warrior with a fierce and fiery spirit and as a young warrior fell quickly for Briarheart, a tough, ambitious tom who matched her bold personality. The two were a good match for each other at the time and enjoyed each other’s company, they could often be found playfully sparing each other or racing each other across the territory. But as Dawnflower began to reach adulthood she no longer enjoyed being a warrior as much as she used to and disliked the violence she had to use with other cats and didn’t want to fight others anymore. This caused Briarheart to drift away from her as their interests began to differ from each other and he still very much enjoyed his role as a warrior in the clan, and he couldn’t understand why Dawnflower didn’t feel the same.

Dawnflower then fell pregnant with Briarheart’s kits and she was delighted to be able to retire her warrior duties and instead spend her time in the nursery or close to the camp. Briarheart was happy but by this time they weren’t spending nearly as much time together as they used to and they had drifted from each other so much that cats could hardly call them mates.

Still Briarheart checked on Dawnflower regularly and though they weren’t as close as they used to be Dawnflower was still happy to see he was interested in his future kin. Whilst Dawnflower was more around the nursery and the medicine den she began to become interested in herbs and could often be found in the medicine den talking with Oddeye about them and how he used them.

Moons went by and Dawnflower gave birth to three healthy kits, afterwards Briarheart came to see her and the newborns in the nursery the moment he was allowed to and naming the kits was a joint effort between them.

As the kits grew Dawnflower was glad to see that Briarheart stuck around the camp a little more to help raise them, but she would often catch him urging the kits more towards being warriors over the other jobs within the clan but she didn’t think too much of it.

Duskkit and Sunkit had taken an interest in being warriors since they were very small, however Pinekit had always leaned more towards being a scout and his father’s pushing and persuading made him uncomfortable. When it came time for the kits to choose their future duties within the clan Duskkit and Sunkit chose to be warriors whilst Pinekit chose the scouts. Briarheart wasn’t very happy with Pinekit’s decision but Dawnflower fully supported her son and scolded Briarheart for not doing the same.

Soon after the kits apprentice ceremony Briarheart and Dawnflower decided to officially split as mates as they felt their relationship was not what it once was and that they no longer worked well together as mates. The kits left the nursery and moved into the apprentice den to start training for their chosen duties and Dawnflower had to also go back to her duties, but she didn’t want to continue being a warrior and instead requested that she become an assistant medicine cat.
