I literally can’t even with this small human, she is the epicenter of all my pride and feels 😍 Much to my own surprise, I am perfectly comfortable with my daughter playing in makeup, painting her nails, dressing up as a princess and taking pride in how she presents her meat-sack to the world. I used to fear telling her she was “pretty” in addition to “smart”, “strong” or “kind” because i believed that by indulging her appearance and her femininity, i was somehow discounting her intelligence, strength and compassion.
