It’s been too long since I’ve visited - for no reason other than i couldn’t get out of my own way. I spent the short time we had anticipating a long future of #sisterhood and ended up drowning for almost 2 decades in the misplaced rage and resentment of being robbed of those expectations. Prior visits were riddled with darkness, tears, fear, anger, feeling unworthy and so. much. bitter. envy. Not today, though.
