On the next hill, headed for another area in the middle of a field densely covered with pine trees. There were no finds, only someone's hole was found. There are a lot of rocks in the area. And most importantly, you can see all the mounds from this hill. There are now five surviving mounds here, in the 90s there were nine, and in 1873 there were as many as 42 mounds. I saw another hole somewhere here, deep, like a badger's. Near it there was fresh sand and footprints 4-5 cm long, with claws. Presumably fox tracks. I also saw a red deer feeding near the forest, but did not immediately recognize my presence.
