Its oblong shape tapers at the back, but it's decorated with long tan feathers of a pheasant for antennae, small blue glass beads for eyes, vibrant green feathers of a male mallard for the wings, wooden thighs, and skinny brown feathers of a pheasant for angular patterns along the body and thighs. It shimmers in the light as Arthur tilts it. He can't help but grin at the craftsmanship of his new gift.
