Lately, I’ve been starting to think of myself as the CEO of my life. Meaning, that I need to be managing my “team” well (aka me), inspiring them (me) to get things done, looking for more opportunities to grow my business and invest in my personnelle (me), and looking to make sure I have a profit at the end of each year. 😉🤓 ⠀⠀ So, given this new 🦠 territory we’re navigating, I realized that with so many events are being cancelled and postponed, there is a bit of time to work with, here. So, I called a meeting yesterday with my “team” (aka me) to discuss our options. ⠀⠀ We assessed the current landscape, and took inventory: ⠀⠀ • Thankfully, I've been working online as a freelancer since 2012, so nothing needs to change there ⠀⠀ • With so many events and gatherings being shut down, I no longer have FOMO, and can stay home guilt-free (yay for being an introvert at heart!) ⠀⠀ • Turns out, I have a long list of personal and work projects that I’ve told myself I’ll tackle when I have “free time.” Well, hello "free time!" 🦠 ⠀⠀ I know that some of us are now being forced to work from home with the kids that used to be in school all day, or that our jobs and livelihoods which are dependant on in-person services are now being called into question… and I don’t know the solution for so many of my friends who are in these kinds of positions. 💕 But I do know that as much as this may suck--it can also be a perfect time to cocoon, since we won’t otherwise give ourselves this time. 🧘♀️Finally, we’re being forced to take space to look inward, take stock, and face the things we’ve been putting off. ⠀⠀ In that spirit, during my meeting, I made a list of all these pending, nagging projects I’ve been avoiding for one reason or another. And the new goal for my team (aka me) during this time is to clean out the mental, physical, and digital clutter, invest in my education, strengthen my body + mind + spirit. And when the societal quarantines are lifted, I plan to emerge as a better iteration of myself. ⠀⠀ I can’t wait to see what new innovations and next levels we all access during this concentrated solo time. 🦋 ⠀⠀ #solotime #isolation #introversion #quiettime #corona #solopreneur https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ui8cLnyRS/?igshid=1vg4lawz1ftra
