Alright, short Drabble time—

Masky:

His hands were tracing patterns down your back as he hummed.

You were curled up on his chest as he held you gently and sang softly.

“Look, I know you’re not in the best mood, okay?” He started, earning a short glare from you. “But, I need you to know what you, ah, what you mean to me.”

He cleared his throat, glancing toward the closed door of his bedroom while a blush darkened his cheeks. “It’s just, I need you to know,” he looked back at you, meeting your (e/c) gaze. “You’re my perfect match, I swear. You fit perfectly in my arms, your smile just makes my heart stop sometimes, and every fucking thing about you makes me wonder how the hell I got so lucky.”

He cupped your face with one hand, gently rubbing your cheek. “You’re perfect, and I cant believe you can’t see it.”

“I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand?”

He stood in front of you, arms crossed as his head tilted to the side. If you had been in a more stable mood, you would’ve giggled at the sight of the giant demon looking like a puppy.

“I don’t know, I just,” you paused. “I just need some confirmation that you don’t just put up with me-“

A short growl left his throat at the implication.

“You’re my mate. You think I’d just lie about that?” He said lowly, you felt your eyes tear up as he tone he used.

In a flash he was in front of you, gently wiping your ears with his clawed hands as he purred softly, trying to calm you down.

“Forgive me, little one. I didn’t mean to hurt you,” he cooed. “You’re so perfect I just can’t see how you don’t understand. You’re kind, soft, gentle, and everything I’m not. I want you to smile and be happy, alright? Can you do that for me, my little mate?”

You sniffles and nodded, feeling your heart swell at the soft tone of voice. He flashed you a smile and wrapped his arms around you, tugging you into his warm embrace.

“Good. You need to see yourself how I see you.”

Toby:

When you told your boyfriend you were having a bad day, you didn’t expect this reaction.

“I brought-I brought your favorite movie and some snacks,” he said, shouldering past you to get into your room. Dropping everything unceremoniously on your bed, he turned to face you. “Now, what happened.”

You shrugged, rubbing your arm and looking at the floor. “It’s just, I feel really self conscious today. Like have you seen Jane? She’s so fucking pretty and curvy and-“

Toby scoffing cut your train of though off.

“So fucking what? She’s not-she’s not you. She doesn’t have your-have your pretty (e/c) eyes, that cute-cute giggle when you’re flustered, or that-or that adorable wide eyed look when you-when you’re confused. She’s not you, so I don’t-I don’t want her,” he stuffed his hands in his pockets, blushing a bit as he lectured you. You felt your face heat.

You didn’t know he paid that much attention. Your eyes felt warm as your vision blurred slightly, warmth filling your chest as you walked over to him and wrapped your arms around his waist.

“I love you, Tobes,” you said softly, burying your face in his broad chest. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around you.

this is a really old spread actually...I made it around May of last year. I’ve been a fan of the book series for a really long time and I haven’t found a book character I can relate to as much as Lara Jean in terms of personality 😅. I’m posting it now cause the movie just came out a couple of weeks ago.Nnot going to lie I was disappointed by the film, because I LOVE the series so much. sigh. books are always >movies. 

I could go on for days about the little things the movie got wrong and how the vibe of the movie was so different from the soft fluffy romance of the book.😅I’m still glad that the movie at least showcased Asian representation! 

at least the books exist and I can still be in love with the fluffiness of the book (hehe) 💕💕💕💕
