Curiosity quickly takes the best of them and both girls decide to stick their heads out of their hiding place to witness said confession, Kanan’s body being shielded by Riko’s smaller one while the older girl’s head rests lightly on the burgundy haired’s shoulder to look better at the other couple.

The older blue haired girl can’t help but tense up upon the way she notices Yoshiko is looking at Mari: the intensity in her magenta gaze, the way her breathing quickens and how she seems to be slightly flustered, leaning more and more forward.

But especially, she can’t help but feel uneasy upon the fond way in which Mari looks at the first year. How her typical playful smirk seems to be softer than ever as her eyes rest on her, or in how she basks delighted in Yoshiko’s trapping arms and kabedon, her own hands resting on the younger girl’s hips in what feels a very intimate way.
