Forget Your Worries || Lucy & Malcom
It would have been a lie if Malcom had said he wasn’t ready for the day to be over with. How he had gotten roped into working the refreshment booth at the annual spring festival was beyond him, but luckily the last day was coming to an end and the brunette was counting the minutes until his shift was over. It wasn’t a hard job, not in the slightest, but Malcom’s thoughts wouldn’t leave him alone. With people buying food in intervals it seemed, the beta found himself over thinking the events between him, Lucy and Anastasia that had taken place in the last couple of weeks. Having Anastasia back in his life was causing him more problems than he wished to admit. While he still planned on acting out his plan for revenge, he couldn't help but feel slightly guilty of what he was about to do to the girl he had once loved. And guilt was something the beta rarely felt.
Since Anastasia’s arrival into town, the lines between friends and lovers were starting to blur, and it was freaking him out to no end. Malcom still wanted to confront Anastasia about her attacking Lucy, but he knew he had to hold back. His friendship with Lucy was being jeopardized but at this point he wasn't sure if it was Ana’s or his own doing. Malcom had always known he cared about Lucy, but he wasn’t sure to what extent anymore. What was once a casual friendship was now something completely different and Malcom wasn’t sure he was ready to delve into those thoughts. At the sound of someone clearly their throat, Malcom shook his head to clear it and looked up to see Lucy standing in front of his tent. “What are you doing here?” he asked, not expecting to have the object of his thoughts in front of him.
