Mara: Mara felt lonely, and it was a feeling she hated to feel. It made her feel useless, weak, like a little girl, and she hated that feeling. She knew exactly who to go to though, someone who loved her---or so she thought. She had texted John to meet her at her house, and as she sensed his heartbeat coming up the stairs, she shoved the maids out of the way, excitedly, and pulled John in. When Mara felt as if she wasn't good enough, or that she had no one to love her, she threw herself into anyone that would and John was her crutch. She pulled him inside the mansion, and automatically started kissing him, deeply, wanting every single part of him near her, his heartbeat, everything. Despite using John in the beginning, Mara had actually grown to care for him and she loved that he was hers. At least so she thought. "I'm so happy you're here, gorgeous. I missed you," She breathed through her kisses.
Mara: Mara was shocked when John didn't even kiss back, or show any amount of affection toward her. She noticed the maid and glared, her eyes turning to blue in a second. "GET OUT!" She demanded and pulled John by the arm into the living room and started kissing him again. "C'mon, it's private in here, I know how you are about your privacy. C'mon, it's just us, my brothers are gone," She said, taking off her top, showing off her lacey pink bra, leaning forward to kiss him again. "C'mon, I've been thinking about you all day, all night, John. I want you and I know you want me. I always want PDA after a long night of kills," She whined slightly, pouting to him, smirking. "You can't say no to me, John, you know that," She giggled, starting to kiss his neck.
John: John Eyebrows shot up at Mara's temper tantrum and the way she was talking to everyone. It seemed…wrong. Everyone seemed to scatter in a scary where and it made John question why he'd come here again. Why was it? He didn't know. It seemed as if there was something weird. Being dragged into the living room, John looked away as Mara all but stripped from her clothes. The way she was acting made her seem desperate for the attention that she sought. In some ways, it seemed like she was a lot like him, wanting love and attention in the same manner he had. However, John had that. He didn't need her. "Stop it," A warning growl as he pushed away from her. "I don't need this anymore. I'm done with you, Mara." John narrowed his eyes at the blonde across from him. "I have someone I love. I love Helen and I'm not going to ruin my relationship with her."
Mara: Mara suddenly felt like someone had punched her right in the face. She narrowed her eyes, as if the words didn't process for her. "...Excuse me?" She asked. She shook her head, rolling her eyes. "You don't...You don't love Helen, who could love that no one when you have me? I know you love me, you keep coming back to me, John," She said, shaking her head. "No one is ever done with me, John, I know you want me, I know you love me. Why else would you spend those long nights with me, doing drugs, flirting with me, kissing me, telling me about your life? Huh? I know you want this, to be with me, and not that little troll." Mara said, trying to disguise her hurt as anger, although the words did hurt her. She had really fallen for John, from the moment she had set eyes on his blue, beautiful eyes. Something about his kisses, his arms...She didn't feel like she had to be Mara Olsen with him. She just could be herself, and he would never judge her. He was too kind to.
John: "You didn't just say that," John hissed at Mara. Why had he went through the phase of her? He was stupid to think and go through this. Why? why? He kept questioning his actions as Mara started to sound more desperate the move she talked. "STOP TALKING ABOUT HER LIKE THAT! She respects me! She loves me! She's nothing like you. Nothing like you at all, Mara Olsen. She is not someone who strives for attention like you. Helen is nothing like you. You were a phase. A stupid phase I went through. I regret it. I really do. I was stupid and I got lost for a little while. Y'know, maybe if you were nicer to people, you would actually have friends. People who cared about you. Think about that next time before you force them into people."
Mara: Mara rolled her eyes, feeling disgusted, sick to her stomach at the thought that John was staying with Helen. She had thought for sure that he wouldn't, that he would stay with her. "I'll kill you, you know I will!" She exclaimed. "One last time, before I rip her apart and you can learn to love me the way I KNOW you do!" She exclaimed, her voice breaking a little bit.
John: "Past tense, I did." John huffed at Mara. He hated this. Why did he get invovled with her? It seemed like it was a good idea at the time but looking back, it was a horrible one. It was time to end it and that was what he was trying to do. Or well, unless Mara threatened Helen. Like an automatic reaction, Johns eyes went from his regular, pale blue to ice blue ones. Fangs replaced the normal teeth as John snarled at Mara. "You will not hurt her. Royal or not. I don't care. I don't care what you are. You're not going to harm her at all." John took a step towards Mara, a threatening one. "You will stay away from her. You hurt her Mara and I swear to the gods above I will kill you."
Mara: Mara could have sworn that that would have worked---to make John back down, fall back into her arms again, where she wanted him to be, but it only made him more and more violent. She looked down, realizing she couldn't kill Helen, she wouldn't want to hurt John. There was something about him, something that hit at her weak spot. He was so beautiful, and kind and pure---he was quiet, but he was always so observant. Mara didn't know how to show him she cared, she never was taught that in all of her time and in all of her lessons. She just swallowed hard, looking away as tears filled her eyes. The words of Gabriel and Claire rang through her head, the words of everyone, how she had been a monster--the words Mara had ignored. She looked up at John and bit down on her lip, hoping he couldn't see the weakness in her eyes. "You wouldn't hurt me. Remember how you called me beautiful? Remember how we kissed? Isn't that what love is?" The last part, the question, came out more lost and broken than Mara had wanted it to. It was like she was actually asking what love was, not that she really knew. She didn't know how to love anyone, because she was never shown it, not with her father, not with her brothers, not outwardly. Mara suddenly grew frantic and shook her head, pushing John away. "Why do you want?! Do you want money, jewels, power? I can give you that, just don't leave me!" She exclaimed, shaking her head. "DON'T!"
John: There was a laugh at the last question Mara asked. That's what she thought love was? He really didn't understand the meaning of love until well…recently. "You think that's what love is? Then you're blind Mara. That's not love. That's just…I don't even know. Not love. You really need to understand what love is before you start demanding it from people. You can't just..demand it. You have to feel it." John retorted as he narrowed his eyes at Mara. "If you hurt Helen I'm not afraid to hurt you. Do you understand that? I love Helen way more than I love you."
Mara grew angry again, shoving John, shaking her head. "Helen? Pfft," She scoffed, advancing on him. "I'm better than her in every single way. I'm prettier, I'm richer and I'm a lot more powerful, so obviously you must be clinically insane!" She exclaimed, fuming more and more with each word she said. "As for her, I'l l rip her apart with no problem, John, in fact, I'll go to her now, it's past dinner time. She's had her last meal," She smirked, evilly, making her way to the front door, pushing her maids out of her way to get there, as they scurried away from her. She turned back at John and laughed. "What is it, almost half past eleven? By midnight, she'll be dead, no problem," She said, walking down the hallway. "How about that, John? You excited for that?"
John: At the treat of harming Helen, John snarled at her, claws replacing fingernails as he ran after her and took her by the hair. The need to protect his girlfriend over powered everything else. Nothing was going to happen to her. Nothing. Espiclly after the night they had. Nothing. "You will not hurt her," He growled, breathing heavily through his nose as his fingers yanked Mara backwards by the hair. "You'll leave her alone or you'll fucking regret it. Touch her and I will kill you."
Mara: Mara let out a whimper of pain as she felt him pull her back by her hair, aggressively and looked back at him, her blue eyes glowing as she tried to shove him back. She laughed in his face, snarling. "You wouldn't dare. I gave you everything. You were only somebody when you were with me. You'd never hurt me, you're mine, don't you remember?" She smirked, leaning in close and letting her hot breath dance on John's cheek, leaning in closing to whisper in his ear. "You'll always be mine, John. No one else's." She whispered and giggled. "I'll kill Helen and every single person in this town if I have to, but I won't ever hurt you. I'd never hurt you." She told him, leaning in and kissing him, passionately, her soft lips gentle, soft, yet on fire.
John: "Stop. It." John snarled at Mara as she managed to break free of the grasp on her hair. Uhg he wanted this to stop so bad. Didn't she understand it? Nothing, nothing was going to make him go back to her. "I don't want you. I have Helen. Do I need to spell it out for you, Mara? Are you that stupid you don't understand what the word no means?" The moment her lips started to come closer to his face, John shoved her away with his hand, claws accidentally scraping against her skin. "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO KILL HER. YOU'RE NOT GO--" However, he was cut off as the lips were pressed together and John snarled, pushing away from her and ducking so he didn't have to kiss her. "I'm serious Mara. Stop it. I'm done. I don't want you. Stop acting like a fucking three year old. Understand what the word no means.'
Mara: The moment his claws scraped against Mara's skin, she cried out in horrible pain. Holding the side of her face, she stopped moving, she stopped speaking, she stopped everything. Tears fell down her cheeks, stinging, He had scraped her face, and since Promethus took her healing powers away temporarily, it stung deep. She took in a few deep breaths and looked up at John, sadness etched in her blue eyes that were no longer her crystal blue but just her regular blue. She swallowed hard, taking in a few deep breaths and still holding her cheek, as she cried. It was the first time Mara had ever cried in front of anyone that wasn't her family. She got up, slowly, and remained quiet. "Fine. Go. Just leave me alone." She had said, trying not to make her voice shake. "I won't hurt Helen. Just...leave me alone." She said, refusing to look at him, still holding her scarred cheek.
John: The anger he felt quickly disappeared when Mara went completely did a one eighty. He was not expecting that. Slowly he started to change back, the fangs disappearing and his eyes going pale blue once again. Taking a step backwards, John kept his jaw tight. How could she flip so easily? It was weird and he hated it. Hated it because she knew how to play him and in his mind right now, he was doing. "You hurt her, I'm going to hurt you." John warned Mara before he quickly turned and left, closing the door behind him. Right now he just wanted Helen. Wanted to be around her, talk to her, make sure she was alright. But he just came from there too. So instead, John took off to the woods, ready to kill some steam
