A new kid moves into town, and it seems like they're VERY lazy. They even hate noise, just like Robbie, and like to hide in quiet places to do nothing in silence. However, they're not actually lazy, they have an invisible disability: fibromyalgia. They have trouble running and sometimes even walking, and no amount of sportscandy can give them enough energy to be "normal". Please give them a happy ending. Thanks for taking prompts, you're so cool!
I hope this ending is happy enough! Thank you for naming the child. I am awful at name picking lol
Add this to the list of things I have researched for Lazytown! Hope itâs all accurate!
Sportacus set Ziggy back on his feet, much to the boyâsrelief. Trixie, Stingy, and Stephanie ran over to make sure he was okay.Sportacus looked up at the tree Ziggy had been hanging from, âWhat were youdoing up there?â
âI was trying to see into the new kidâs house!â
âShe wonât come out and play,â Trixie complained, âAnd theteacher never makes her go to music orgym class.â
âAnd sheâs always going to the nurseâ office,â Stingy added,âShe gets headaches a lot.â
Stephanie was nodding, âShe also looks so tired in class.Maybe sheâs lazy because she doesnât get enough sleep?â
âWait,â Sportacus put up his hands, âYouâre talking aboutJulia, right? The girl who moved in last week?â
âYeah! Sheâs almost as lazy as Robbie!â Ziggy said.
âI spoke with her mother when they moved in. Julia isnâtlazy,â Sportacus explained. All four kids looked confused, âJulia is⌠sick.â
âShe doesnât looksick,â Stingy huffed.
âHer sickness is hard to see. It makes it painful for her tomove around a lot. It also makes it hard to sleep.â The kids all exchangedlooks.
Stephanie crossed her arms, thinking, âWould eating sportscandy make her feel better?â
Sportacus shook his head, âIâm afraid that wonât fixeverything. Iâm glad you all are concerned for her, but donât force her to playif she doesnât feel up to it.â
At that moment, Pixel came running up to the group, âHey! Wereyou still trying to talk to Julia? I just passed her playing with Robbie in thepark!â
Stingy, Trixie, Stephanie, and Ziggy all looked up at Sportacus. He shrugged.
âMake sure sheâs doing a cool super hero pose!â
âI will never understand kids and their obsession with superheroes.â
Julia giggled as Sportacus and the other kids approached.Robbie was kneeling on the pavement, sketching with chalk. As the group gotcloser, Julia stopped giggling. She looked up at the six of them and edgedcloser to Robbie. It was then Robbie noticed them. âDonât step on any of mywork,â He ordered, gesturing at the other drawings on the blacktop.
Sportacus stepped forward and smiled warmly at Julia, âItâsgood to see you again.â She gave him a little wave. Sportacus turned his attentionto Robbie, âWhat are you doing?â
âWe were both out for a walk and we ran into each other. Westarted talking and I had chalk with me and long story short none of your business go away.â Sportacuschuckled and stepped back.
Ziggy came up to stand beside Julia as she colored in thehair on the super hero Robbie was drawing. âUm, Julia? Iâm sorry we were meanbefore. Do you want some of my chocolate?â He started frantically pullingbrightly wrapped candy out of his pocket, âYou can have any kind you want!â
Julia bit her lip, ââThank you, but I canât have chocolate. It has caffeine in it.â
âItâs okay!â She looked around, âUh, do you want to draw acape on my super hero?â
Ziggy grinned, âOkay!â
âCan we play too, Julia?â Stephanie asked.
Chalk was passed around and soon everyone was coloring onthe pavement. They tried to keep from shouting to each other, since it madeJulia flinch. Robbie and Sportacus stood off to the side, watching them slowlyget to know the new kid.
