This is a pretty common experience amongst autistic people. 

Many of have a person (or people) who act as our social guides. For instance, I’m much more comfortable going out into the world if my husband is with me. My husband is able to help me navigate difficult social situations. He’s able to act as a social buffer and protect me from people who would do me harm as well as helping smooth over social errors I make. He also helps keep me grounded and is able to do things to help me calm down if I start to get overwhelmed. He helps make the world more accessible to me, and, without him, going out into the world can be a very difficult feat. 

Further, our comfort people may also provide a sense of stability and consistency in an ever-changing world which can make a huge difference when trying to partake in the world. 

Hej allihopa! Nu är det fredag igen! Tänka sig. Tiden går så fort.

Jag har varit i sjuk i snart en vecka. Hemskt tråkigt är det. Det hemskaste är att jag ju tänker många tankar när jag inte har nåt att göra (och det har jag ju inte, för jag är ju sjuk) och förkylningen har satt sig PRECIS på stämbanden, så jag låter som jag 1. Satt nåt i halsen. Eller 2. Är en grötig man i 60-årsåldern med en livstid av supande och rökning bakom sig. Bl.a. Och då är det ju bäst man håller käft. Hostar annars också som vore jag Jan Malmsjö mitt i ett asgarv, fast utan asgarvet.

Ja, ni fattar. Jag har många tankar, få decibel att nyttja. Och då jobbar jag upp en god eld av ilska och frustrationer. Och så går jag loss i skriveriet, som här nu då.

Ingen av er som läser detta har såklart missat #TystnadTagning #NärMusikenTystnar #MedVilkenRätt eller något av de andra uppropen där yrkeskvinnor ÄNTELIGEN yttrar sig om trakasserier de utsatts & utsätts för i sitt arbete. Dels för att ni väl är typ 4 pers som läser detta och därmed vore det osannolikt rent statistiskt, men jag antar det också eftersom ni ju uppenbarligen har ögon att se med.

Jag älskar att kvinnor nu står upp och gormar ut skiten, kastar den dit där den hör hemma och gör det TILLSAMMANS, som en röst. Det bullrar så högt. Vibrerar, nej skakar. Bulldozern gasar in. Det är mäktigt. Ner på backen, gubbslem & slempojkar. Och så kör vi. Sen har vi den aspekten, att det är kvinnor som går ut tillsammans just i sina yrkesroller. Det adderar ytterligare ett lager, på nåt vis. Eftersom gubbjävlar och mansgrisar och killsatar (misogyna rövnissar av alla dess slag egentligen) inte verkar veta att sätta värde på kvinnor bara så, som mänskliga varelser, och än mindre som yrkesutövande eller överhuvudtaget människor kapabla till utomhushållelig verksamhet. Då blir det som ett extra långt långfinger rakt in i deras dumma själlösa ögonhålor. Det är mäktigt. De tvingas betrakta dem som människor, som skådespelare, musiker, jurister etc. Kanske funkar? Jag vet inte. Hoppas det. Hoppas de skiter ner sig i skräck också, fattar och slutar hålla på.

Detta har jag iallafall funderat mycket över denna vecka. Det är intressant när man grubblar och kommer framåt och liksom INÅT i sina tankar och resonemang. När ens egen förståelse fördjupas. Det upplever jag att den gjort på nåt vis, även om jag ännu inte helt kan formulera mina insikter exakt som jag vill riktigt ännu. Behöver ev. testtjöta först. Testskriver lite nu. Sen kanske jag kan skriva bra om dem. Hoppas det.

Det är ju det där dock, med att tänka djupt om ett ämne, på sin egna lilla kammare när man borstar håret framför spegeln mitt bland alla rosa, småblommiga tapeter, i underklänning, medan man visslar på en ljuv liten trudelutt och viftar med ögonfransarna (som jag naturligtvis gör dagligen ety är en kvinna), som gör att man blir BINDGALEN av ilska när sedan en “trött” man på internet säger att han “är trött” på me too-rörelsen. Jag blev rosenrasande när detta hände idag. Och är du nu en man (eller något annat, det är inte så noga) som också “är trött” och/eller tycker att “me too-kampanjen gått överstyr” (OBS. är ej en kampanj, utan en rörelse), att den “kanske är lite väl överdriven” eller att “man inte bör hänga ut folk” och/eller att “alla män är inte dumma” svarar jag dig som jag svarade den andra “trötta” stackaren tidigare idag:

Sluta anta dumheter om andra. Är du trött på kampanjen, tough shit.

Vi, kvinnor, flickor, ickebinära och transpersoner är trötta på att hela tiden behöva beräkna risken att bli utsatt för sexuellt våld & trakasserier. På bussen, på jobbet, i toakön, hemma, på festen, i matkön i skolan, överallt. Det om något är tröttsamt. Klart som fan det gäller alla män, för hur ska jag kunna urskilja ett rötägg ur mängden bra män, innan han utsatt mig för skit? Har testat det. Har ej funkat. Vi är många med liknande erfarenheter i den saken, som du kan förstå om du läser vittnesmålen idag såväl som i Tystnad tagning och övriga me too-upprop.

Trött på rörelsen kan du inte vara om du på riktigt bryr dig om saken. Rörelsen är inget annat ÄN saken. Jag förstår att du ogillar att enskilda personer hängs ut. Det är komplicerat. Men uthängningar är inte rörelsen, är inte saken.

Bryr du dig om sakfrågan, gå inte emot kvinnors vittnesmål. Tro på oss, vi har absolut inget att vinna på att ljuga. Att säga att någon överdriver/KANSKE överdriver är att säga att deras upplevelser inte spelar roll. Gör inte det, för allt i världen. Det är i sig ett övergrepp, på ett mänskligt plan. Sätt stopp för övergrepp när du ser dem ske eller vara på väg att hända. Hellre en gång för mycket än en gång för lite. När du eller någon annan säger något eller skämtar på kvinnokroppens och kvinnors integritets bekostnad, ifrågasätt det, påpeka vad de/du själv just gjorde och att det är skevt. Det kan bli tröttsamt, sure. Men tro mig, övergreppen och allt vi gör (per auto vid det här laget) för att undvika dem, och all skit som ligger kvar i en efter att man ändå utsatts för dem (för det händer ändå) är ännu tröttsammare. Man blir jävligt trött faktiskt. Därav uppropen. Så lyssna bara, och gör nåt.
