Is anyone finding that their autism gets “worse”/more obvious/more apparent as they get older?
I can think of some “or is it...” variables, but want to hear your thoughts.
I know “older” is very broad, and subjective. but still...

is it an autistic thing to hate having short nails??
the way my finger tips feel on whatever i’m touching make me want to Vomit and i cannot stand the feeling of it at all..
When you happy flap about someone else's research!
Today I got an email about some research at Coventry University on Autistic Women and late diagnosis. I could have happy flapped my hands off... Somewhere someone thinks this is important.
When I first watched that episode of The Good Doctor where we see what happened to Shawns brother and he was in the police station and Claire (?) That other nice doctor had that relaization that Shawn really doesn't like being asked questions he only likes volunteering information I didn't really think about it much but now I realize that is such a me thing. I get so overwhelmed and flustered when being asked questions especially when there's a lot of questions at once. I feel like that's the kind of autism thing that you wouldn't normally explicitly know about so honestly good on the writers.
Anyone else have the same experience/reaction with questions??
Any other autistic people have trouble knowing what's "common knowledge?" Like I'll be rambling on and someone will stop me and say "what does that mean?" (Or worse they just nod; I can't tell if you don't get it or if you just don't care)
I try to explain thing that I think may be lesser known, but they sometimes say "I know." Is there a way alltistic people just know if someone knows something?

Is it an autistic thing or a bpd thing
To have one thing bother you and you cant stop thinking about it and you're noticeably distracted by it or maybe even have a meltdown about it, but that thing is not happening to or possibly even related to you?
iiaat to b like frustrated/more on edge when ur not allowed to/can’t stim
for me it happens when I’m not listening to music (or haven’t like in a recent time period) I get rly frustrated and like have a shorter tolerance for things (like Bad Noises and stuff)
iiaat: I can be sweating, well aware that the temperature is in the 90s and above, seeing people fanning themselves, and hearing others complaining about being hot. And still I won’t register that I am hot as well.
It’s the same with the cold.
