I don't really care for a 'soc 3' as a full novel (I consider the duology a very finished narrative, and I'm doubtful it'll ever happen anyway) but I would go fucking crazy for a short story collection, both pre-and-post canon. susanna clarke's the ladies of grace adieu which accompanies jonathan strange and mr norrell, and tamsyn muir's short stories for each of the locked tomb paperbacks are so great, and I'd kill for something like that for soc... I know this is a niche that fanfiction can and does fill, but there's so much stuff that's only alluded to in canon that could make a killer short story. tell me about kaz's heist on the diplomat's wife who loved emeralds. tell me about jesper's time on the novyi zem front with colm. tell me about imogen; what happened to her? what about the other barrel gangs? this could even be a chance for leigh to tell us what kaz's full name actually is lmao
If there is a Six Of Crows 3. I want Kanej to just hang out.
I want to see Kanej laugh together, to see Kaz light up for once because for Saint’s sake his wraith has returned.
Kaz brushing her shoulder with his to make sure she’s real, to feel the water rising but knowing she won’t drown.
To maybe have a Rewrite The Stars style scene where they are dancing together, but not touching.
A Suli dance maybe, with Inej teaching Kaz the steps, arms out, watching each other as they twist and turn.
Maybe as the big ‘touch scene’ as we’ve had in each of the books so far (cheek touch, the hand holding, the bandage scene), maybe there is a hug. A hug where Kaz tucks his face into her shoulder and she puts one arm around his back. So small to others but so huge for them.
To see that they could be more than Dirtyhands and The Wraith. The King Of The Barrel and The Scourge Of The Sea.
To just be them. And for that to be enough.

It probably won’t be wylan cause he’ll die before Jesper anyway so what would be the point
It won’t be Inej cause Kaz would go batshit (we all saw what he did after jordies death) and can Leigh really justify Kaz snapping and committing mass murder (unless it’s a Romeo and Juliet situation and he kills himself but doubt it)
It could be Jesper cause that would mean that wylan outlives him which no one would expect
It could be Kaz cause while Inej would be heartbroken she’d manage to carry on with life (like Nina)
So yeah. It’s either Jesper or Kaz
Leigh Bardugo can literally release the third Six of Crows book and it could be an 800 page book about the Crows just sitting there, eating waffles and bantering, and I would still give all my money, rate it five stars, and love and cry about it till death.
leigh bardugo can keep soc3, i simply don't want it.. knowing her she will not let kanej or wesper both simultaneously have a happy ending which means someone is gonna die and i simply cannot handle that pain again
