More than paying attention to where our hands go or to keeping them clean all the time, we also need to pay special attention to our emotional and physical state if we must remain in the road to recovery. The Quarantine is driving people crazy. There are friends and family we want to see but just can't and we can't even get close to them; there are restaurants we want to visit but in the end we decide to cook at home... These feelings, too, shall pass. Right now all I can think of is acknowledge them and draw up a daily action plan to deal with them. Right now my favorite steps include... ❤️ Making a healthy breakfast ❤️ Packing my lunch ❤️ Filling my lunch box with healthy snack items (fruits & nuts) ❤️ Doing burpees before stepping into the shower ❤️ Giving the fur babies lots of hugs ❤️ Snuggling next to Antonio before bedtime We thrive on hugs, kisses, and more hugs 😊 Whenever you feel hungry, angry, lonely or tired, stop and breathe and follow your game plan. Stay safe and healthy, everyone! #sobermom #recoverywarrior #thistooshallpass #lifeinrecovery #soberiscool #soberissexy #sobernotdead #sobernotboring https://www.instagram.com/p/CC5aa6ujE9A/?igshid=1wt19un652ypi
