Angels in Genesis don't care for humans for the most part but Michael does and wants to cooperate with them.

He tells fellow angels that he tasked some valiant humans with finding the plot key of Genesis.

But the reaction he gets is "hmph, so your beloved maiden then?"

Which is such a small line that could be misstranslated for all i know, and yet its so full of meaning. Its his beloved maiden, his champion he keeps an eye on and whom he is proud of. So proud of this one single person and their connection some angels might even slightly mock it(?) (At least Raphael)
