I'm finally done
The 3.74 meter reticulated python is finally finished, I am extremely proud, I feel like a peacock
There were probably more than a thousand pieces and I still have a 2.5 meter burmese degreasing and two other snakes in the freezer waiting to be cleaned and articulated
Finally done with the rattlesnake skeleton articulation, after yrs of sitting as a pile of bones I had since 2012 I finally put it together.
Wasn’t in the best shape as the person who dispatched it used a shotgun, plus I’m assuming I lost some over the yrs of moving around, but it’s finally done. I’ve had to replace some of the missing parts using wire. But it’s finally done!
I hope you like him, he came all the way from the outskirts of Amarillo tx and was a male diamondback rattlesnake, and my first ever skeletal articulation!
Im thinking of naming him Jake after the infamous rattlesnake Jake

Pulling this 3-week design sat out of my ass a day before its due cause i'm stupid 😋
Anyways here's my child who can’t sit still and is my terrible reference (he did NOT let me take a single good photo so i now have a whole folio page devoted to him)
Combining days 3 and 4 of @otherside-wanderer Buildtober 2025 prompts event.
A little bit late, but this is my take on combining the prompts for days 3. Flooded, and 4. Skeleton. I have created the skeleton of a big snake laying in a lake/marshland.
This is my first time joining a Buildtober/Blocktober event but I think it will be fun!
The image below is a screenshot taken during the building process :) For reference, I built this onto an area of about 41x41 blocks to keep the builds relatively small and quick to create.
