the art of HAZARD

I was already into dinosaurs as a kid, but Sam Neil’s roll as Allen Grant in JP along with Laura Dern as Ellie really inspired me to want to be a paleontologist one day or go into studies on them.

Been sick the past couple of days so I haven’t had the energy to mess with the kaprosuchus mask until today. Got the headgear on so I can wear it without needing to hold it in place, tgis was just a test vid to see where I need to fix and adjust things. Still needs reinforcing on the back so it doesn’t warp to one side and getting the bottom jaw to wear I can move it without using my hands.

Since I need to wait on fabric for my fish head bag next month I decided to make a Haru Urara shaped coin bag to go with my Urara themed ita bag so I don’t have loose coins floating around in it.

Can’t wait to whip this bad boy out at the register

When you can’t afford new clothes upcycle old ones

Had a pair of my partners old work pants they don’t wear anymore so I hemmed them, took some fabric scraps and made boot cut kinda bell bottoms and also adjusted the waistband.

Much fun and delight

Wasn’t feeling well due to headaches and the heat to work on bigger projects so I made an attempt to make this hello kitty Haru Urara edition phone charm from 2004 by hand since I cannot afford them. They’re around $55+ ish

Since i cannot afford a guitar strap and had a bunch of excess fabric from my Urara bag and extra hardware and scraps from my meisho doto bag, I decided to make my own. Very pleased with the turn out and now I can play my guitar more comfortably.

Have had this idea for a bag, not sure how big it will be, but I have enough clear plastic vinyl along with felt and other materials to do this(I’ll have to get a few more things ie certain fabrics/colors and a label to sew on)

Finished my Haru Urara bag(based around the horses tack since the character in Umamusume doesnt have a bag to base on). The design was inspired by a bag I kept seeing on TT so I used that and then changed some of the elements, instead of a snap I went with a strap and buckle like a horses halter and then added a mini ita bag to be able to carry my Urara related items and pins.

Even hand sewed on the various patches from her different masks like Muneshi did.

Been putting my other projects aside atm to make my Haru Urara themed bag, finally got the fabric I made in so been on that. Spent a day making patterns and cutting fabric and today I finished the pouch and ita bag pocket complete with slip to hide my phone and other items behind it while being able to stick pins on it.

Took longer than expected because I had to make the strap and the vinyl was fighting me.

Been playing around with the idea of turning secretariat into an Umamusume for awhile. Finally have something solid, wanted to incorporate secretary elements from the 70’s along with the ariat boots named after him and his owners pearls and scarfs she liked to wear around her neck. Not sure about the face yet, I’m not too confident in my ability to draw human faces so that’ll come later.

I finished my horse racing clock and I’m highly amused at how well it turned out, been mulling the idea around in my head for some time now so I’m happy I finally was able to make it

Almost forgot to post the mini Biwa Hayahide I also made as the third and final mini for my bff(he likes the grey horses)

In the middle of making a horse racing clock(this has been a dumb idea for me for a hot minute that I’ve been finally able to make), finished the track last night, working on the furlong markers and finish line and then gonna work on the horses. Gonna have the hour hand on the dirt track and the second and minute hand on the grass.
