The night passed on as three new kits were born into MoonClan. Grayleaf left the nursery as soon as he got done with the birthing process. Sunbeam and her three kits were absent, and simply left Jetfur and her three newborn kittens on their own.

Jetfur snuggled closely to her kittens. It had been six whole hours since they were born. Stormclaw had already stopped by, and helped Jetfur name them.

"I think we named y'all good..." Jetfur whispered while purring. "The gray tabby, Ashkit, the oldest son. The fluffy white and gray one, Cloudkit, who is the youngest daughter. And then there is the gray and white middle she-kit. My precious little Shadekit..."

Jetfur silently tried to edge back into her sleep, but Shadekit started to mew quietly. Jetfur purred. She never felt anymore happier than to be sitting here, beside her family.

"Oh my little Shadekit, you have been welcomed into such a big world. This is our home, MoonClan. You are here in the nursery with me and your siblings. I am your mother, Jetfur. And there is your brother Ashkit and your sister Cloudkit."

"That gray and white cat in the front is your father, Stormclaw." Jetfur continued for longer. "Those other cats are all of his denmates. My brother and the deputy, Smokefang, and then there is Whiteface, Emberfang, Owlwhisker, Ozark, and the hairless twin sisters, Paleheart and Pinkeyes. Then there are the elders, Sunnyears and Pebblestream, the medicine cat Grayleaf, and then finally, our leader, Spotstar. They may not all be related to you, but they are still family. We call it our Clan Family." Jetfur finished grandly.

She yawned and finally drifted back into sleep when Shadekit's mews subsided. Softbeam edged her thick-furred body into the nursery and looked at Jetfur before nudging her kits inside.

"And then there is Softbeam, Ozark's sister, who is mates with Emberfang, who fathered her three kits, Blazekit, Sunkit, and Sandkit." Softbeam meowed quietly for Jetfur with a smile.

"Now we can!-" Blazekit began with his usual loud voice, but was halted.

"Shh, Blazekit." Softbeam shushed. "Jetfur needs some rest."

Blazekit rolled his eyes, clearly not tired, but his siblings curled up beside their mother and went to sleep. He sighed before getting into his usual spot. Then he too, went to sleep. Softbeam sighed one last time.

I have, but I didnt give him a warrior cat name. I dont mind doodling him again for one though! That picture was old anyways

Houndstar- During his life Houndstar was a kind and even tempered leader, who let Shadowclan flourish. He believed strongly in good will. He opened trade with the other clans and kept very good relationships with them even in times of bickering or hardship. The only ‘flaw’ of his rule was his love and devotion towards his mate Redthistle, who was also his medicine cat. The clan worried that too much power was held between the couple and their daughter, Sagewhisker who was also learning to be a medicine cat. Houndstar listened to the clans concerns and established a court of cats in Shadowclan who could challenge him if they felt they were being threatened or mistreated. Due to his honesty and character, Shadowclan was settled with their court which allowed them to question their leader. Houndstar gladly accepted the loner, Cedarbird to be his deputy. And passed away peacefully.

Cedarstar- Cedarstar was always shy, but pleasant. He had a mind that could see the good in everyone and he wanted to keep up the image Houndstar had left behind. Cedarstar was always involved with daily clan life. From hunting with fellow warriors, to babysitting kits, to being their to support queens during kitting, to speaking with elders, and evaluating apprentices. He was frequently down to earth and sweet, however his reign fell on a dark famine. With his deputy, the older tom Stonetooth, the two tried alternative solutions that would allow their clan to thrive. Stonetooth was like Cedarstar, even in temperament and passive. When Stonetooth retired, Cedarstar worried his thoughts were the only ideals being shown in Shadowclan, so he offered the position to young Raggedpelt. Raggedpelt was hot tempered, passionate, and headstrong. But he had ideas to fight the famine, involving looking into new territory new a twoleg junkyard to survive the hunger rippling in the clan. Cedarstar did not live to see the plan go into action, and passed away.

Raggedstar- relatively a short reign. Raggedstar was a decent deputy, who had a falling out with his mate, Smokefang. He still tried to be a supportive father, caring for Joykit, Hopekit, and Wishkit, later renamed to Barkkit, Hopekit, and Ashkit. He ended up favoring Barkkit for their similar interests as Raggedpelt tried to make him a powerful warrior. As Raggedstar with older apprentices as children, he picked Foxheart as deputy. Originally the offer went to Cloudpelt who denied in favor of starting a family first. Foxheart and Raggedstar where said to be mates, however this is unsure as Foxheart was Shrewclaw’s temptation as well. When the plan to raid the junkyard went sour and Foxheart ended up dying, the newly renamed Brokentail was picked for deputy. Evenyone had been surprised when Barkpaw named himself Brokentail, but Raggedstar was never one to put down his son. Brokentail and Raggedstar formed a new plan, involving specializing groups of cats into safer units. Brokentail understanding his father’s vision of Shadowclan had a more intense idea. Brokentail felt he had no other choice, for the good of Shadowclan and of his pride. Raggedstar must fall early. Raggedstar was finally killed when he and Brokentail were near the alley way of the local twoleg place. According to Brokentail, he was killed by stray alley cats.
