to everyone learning a language only few people speak. at the beginning when i only started learning icelandic i tried looking for native speakers but didnt find any that would talk back to me which was extremely frustrating to me at that time and i thought i’d never find anyone to talk to if i wasn’t in iceland. thing is, the more i get into the language the easier it is for me to talk to people and keep up a conversation. i also discovered several things along the way like tandem etc and if you go to the country you also find people you can talk to outside of it if youre at the point you can talk to them there. i’m just saying dont worry, good things come to those who wait (and language comes to those who keep on learning it haha) get that grammar done first and you’ll do well on finding people to talk to later :) (or do whatever you like and dont let some little girl tell you what to do haha)

is it just me or does icelandic have incredible similarities with a purring cat
