summary: You were awaiting in bed for your beloved wife to arrive home from her dutiesāknowing sheād love to be with you after an eventful day. When she did come home, her face wore a clenched, worrisome expression pacing slightly. What ever could be troubling your dear wife?
warning(s): none really, angst ofc(?)
A/N: Iāve been craving to write a fic about this lady here so here ya goš«¶š¾ (kinda my first time writing angst. bare with me).
It was getting late with the moon hanging in the dark sky, dazzling stars peppering the dark abyss with its brightness. You laid lonesome in the large bed that was adorned with silky ruby sheets, missing the certain warmth. The room filled with an eerie silent besides the sounds of the clock ticking, soldiersāthat Ambessa had ordered to guard you while she was awayāfootsteps outside the door, and your own crowded thoughts.
You couldnāt help, but feel that something was wrongāthough, you couldnāt put a finger on it. It was only later on that the bedroom door creaked in along with heavy footstepsāknowing those sounds all too well. Your eyes snapped up, seeing your wife step in the room as she shut the door behind her, but her face..
Her expression was one of frustration and disappointment, knowing that expression all too well. Her body was visibly tense as she paced around the room, not even batting an eye at you until your voice snapped her out her rambling mind.
āSweetheart, whatās troubling you?ā
She only stayed silent as her hardens gaze snapped to you before softening with a hint of vulnerabilityāsuch a miracle to see as she was pretty guarded. A heavy sigh flowed from her dark lips as she strolled over to you by your spot on the edge of the bed, plopping down on the bed with her shoulders slumped and her legs in a manspread position.
Her forehead laid on the palm of her large hand, looking troubled and upset at who knows what. You place a hand on her shoulder before drifting to her cheek as your thumb ran across her cheek, seeing her eyes glance over at you.
āItās Melā¦ā
There it was: the first to second thing that popped in your head as soon as you saw her troubled expression. Your eyes searched for hers as she looked down at the floorboards, seeing her jaw clench as she spoke, āGod knows Iāve tried to guide herāguide her to make only the right decisions.ā
You listened to her explain her situation, knowing her and Mel didnāt have the best relationship to really begin with. Your eyes flickered with understandingāyou knew your wife thought she was helping her, but she was going at it the wrong wayāand placed a hand on her shoulder.
āI know you do, my love, but she can make her own decisions. She may not need your guidance, but I know she wants her mother, not a general, My Dear..ā
Her eyes flickered over at you, brows furrowing as her lips turned into a scowl as she scoffed, āSuch nonsense. Of course I am her mother and I am only guiding her to make the right choice to protect, doing whatever necessary to keep people safeāwar is to come. That childā¦ā
A sigh flowed from your lips as she continued on, knowing that she possibly thought sheās doing right thing, but itās only drifting her further from Mel. She never understood what she did wrongāshe was only doing best for Melā¦
Though Ambessa had her moments with Mel, she still loved her with everything. Her priorities stood straight and devoted to her peopleāeven if meant at the cost of what was dear to her heart.
Sure, Ambessa loved Mel with everything in her body, but unconsciously, she used Melāwhich even she knew herself. Being too distant with Kino costed her, now it feels as if getting close to Mel felt the same.
You gently caressed her cheek, turning her face to meet yoursāseeing the glint of a worrying mother. Your thumb brushed past her cheek as you spoke, āDarling, you and I both know you care for her deeply, but you have to rememberāthe way you were raised and showed how to do certain things may not work with her. I know that may seems nonsensical to you as it may have worked for you, but rememberājust because one thing worked for someone, doesnāt mean itāll do the same for the other, My Love. Only leading on the impossible to be insufferable.ā
Her expression slightly hardened at your words, soaking in your words before she turned away with a small sigh, āShe thinks she can avoid warā¦violence is never ending, at each and every corner.ā
You could only shake your head, seeing at how much she was blinded by her good intentions, that she couldnāt even see the pain she caused. Your wife only wanted best and to protect the ones greatly to her heart, even if it cost her.
She only thought that what she did was only for the greater goodājust as how she was raised. Though it wasnāt āgoodā, she was undoubtedly true and just never understood that what she did was never enough.
āHave you ever considered on how she ever felt? Let her do her own thingsāwhat she think is right for her people?ā
Your words left her silent ālooking at you as if you were some sort of ghost. Her jaw clenched as her brows furrowed together, letting your words seep.
āOf course I do. What mother would I be if I didnāt do such? I care deeply for herāeven as I did him. Both of them. Carried them in my belly, nursed them from my bosom. Nothing but the sweetness in my heart he wasā¦ā
Her voice trailed off into a shaky undertone as her body tensed before quickly straightening up, not wanting to dig further into the wound that would never close.
Even after all these years.
You couldnāt but feel the ache in your heart at her words, knowing how deeply she felt for her children. They were but her precious beloveds.
Your hand placed on her shoulder, giving her a sense of comfort to ease her nerves. She could only glance at you with that hint of sadness and vulnerability before placing her head in your lap.
āIāve lost something so dearly once and I fear to lose Melā¦and you, Dear.ā
Her words left you utterly stunned with emotions, sensing how she deeply loved the ones close to her, but something always backfired as though she was partly to blame. You rested your hand on her cheek, grazing over the blessed brown with a soft touch.
āOh, I know, my Love..ā
āWhat have I done to deserve you, My Precious?ā

Pairing: Mr. Ant Tenna x gn!Reader
Summary: You patch Tenna up.
Warnings/Tags: Fluff, hurt/comfort, small fic, minor mentions of reattaching limbs.
Word Count: 500+ words
"Why are you still here? Shouldn't you run off with the others?"Ā
The question put a pause in your movements. Confusion kept you paralyzed as you did not move away or get closer.
You squinted at the half-done job of connecting the new set of arms to Tenna's body, mangled wires needing to be shoved back into the places they spilled out from. Thankfully, most of the important ones weren't slashed.
The aftermath of the Knight arriving left everyone involved in bad shape. You, apart from the comatose Toriel, were the only one unscathed.
Now? The two of you were seated in the green room. You were beside Tenna working on his arm and Tenna--leaning off the arm of the couch--refused to face you.
Why were you here? Why didn't you leave when you had the chance?Ā
For a moment, doubt eased its way into your mind. You shook your head and continued attaching wires where they should be. Tenna's gaze on the top of your head shifted to the empty green room. They, his actors, were all gone. Poof. Vanished without even a single goodbye.
What good were any of them in the end. No, no, what good was he to his actors......to Mike?
The TV host's screen remained blank.Ā
"Do you want me to goā¦away?" You lowered your hands from the fixed arm. Turning your head and craning your neck to find an empty, dark screen holding your reflection.Ā
"...no." Tenna tentatively answered.Ā
"Then I will stay." You affirmed. A smile managed to find its way to your face. Your toothy grin brought some color to Tenna's screen. Static flickered softly as the host studied your expression glued to his screen. Your lips parted as words began spilling out, if he hadn't snapped out of it by now he would've missed what you said. "Y'know, I think those lighteners really enjoyed your games up until you freaked out on them."Ā
Tenna scoffed but his lips curved upward.Ā
"Oh yeah? What about you?" Tenna lowered his head, curling his arm to test its flexibility.Ā
"I enjoyed them a lot! Even when things got scary." You muttered. "You have goodā¦great ideas, justā¦not the right audience to receive them. I and anyone else can see you worked so hard. When the lighteners began to watch you less and less, you didn't give up. It paid off didn't it? Susieā¦Krisā¦they'll find someone who'll want you."Ā
You peeked at Tenna from the corner of your eye. The outline of his eyes widened as his mouth hung slightly, if you weren't paying close attention you would've missed the pinkish flush on his screen. A sensation akin to ants dancing on your cheeks appeared on your face.Ā
"Sorry, I shouldn't have rambled so mu-?!" You were cut off by two arms circling around you and forcing your face into a chest. You barely registered what Tenna had done before he leapt off of the couch and pointed to an off-screen 'audience.'
"Well! I have places to be and things to do and not enough time!" Tenna exclaimed before bolting out of the room.Ā
You sat there on the couch, reeling over the fact Mr. Ant Tenna hugged you. You felt your weight shift on the couch and you fell onto the floor. Hands slowly hovering over your face before covering your eyes. What an eventful day.

AN: this took a minute, but I was finishing the outline for a few of the other chapters and a few other works I've been doing. I was off from work for a bit, went back, had a set of traumatic back to back days. and well, writers block is one hell of a thing, y'know? aaaand with the seasonal changes I'm just tired maybe a bit down. but thank you guys for your love and support!
warnings: this story may cover sensitive and uncomfortable topics. please read at your own risk, violence, lashings, blood, mental breakdowns, yandere, obsessive behavior, possessiveness, mommy kinks, mommy issues, arranged marriages, forced marriages, angst, eventual smut, clan politics, age gap (5 years from meg, and a little over 10 with toji), toji aint the best dad, mentions of child abuse, slowww build.
Short summary: Your arranged marriage to Toji Fushiguro had been sudden and unexpected, but now you found yourself living under his roof alongside your moody stepson. Your only directive from your clan head before moving in was clear: keep a close eye on Toji, the notorious Sorcerer Killer, and his son, a potential sorcerer prodigy.
threats and cwuddles
an: i said what i said
How utterly pointless.
There he was, standing before the pathetic excuse for a manāthe one you called uncle, the so-called leader of your disgraceful clan. The ridiculous get up had him holding back a joke, as the man seemed to sneer down at him. His expression oozing disdaināas if he wasn't even worth the effort of a proper glance.
Toji nearly laughed at the sheer audacity.
This man, puffed up with self-importance and brimming with hollow authority, presumed to have the upper hand?
Absolutely comedic.
Toji let his eyes drift over the man slowly, deliberately, as if assessing a weak opponent in a fight he knew heād already won. Everything about him screamed mediocrity wrapped in false powerāhis carefully pressed robes, the practiced tilt of his chin, the way he held his hands behind his back as if it really added weight to his presence.
But Toji saw through it all. He always did.
Authority like this was a farce. A staged act meant to instill fear in those whoād never known freedom. And Toji? He was already a foot out the door. And he didnāt play by their rules. Not now. Not ever.
He could kill him in seconds...if he really wanted to.Ā
"So," Toji said, his voice dripping with derision. "This is the man in charge, huh? Canāt say Iām impressed. You look more like an angry little chihuahua guarding a bone that isnāt even yours."
Your clan leader's sneer faltered for a second at his blatant disrespect. It wasn't often someone so ill-mannered showed their face in his estate, let alone had the audacity to open their mouth in front of him.
But they were all the same to Tojiāweak, predictable, and utterly worthless.
Toji wasnāt the type to be a heroānever had been, never would be. Kindness just wasnāt in his nature, and every decision he made came with a price. He didnāt hand out favors for free, and he certainly didnāt involve himself in someone elseās mess out of the goodness of his heart.
So why was he here?
The answer was annoyingly simple.
you.
Maybe it was because, technically, he was your husband. Sure, it was only in name, but the fact remained. Or maybe it was because of Megumiāhis dumb, lovesick sonāwhose actions, if not his words, made it painfully clear just how deeply his affections for you ran.Ā
From the surface, Toji could make excuses, just how he may have when he first picked you up from this clan. But deep down, way belowāin the dark recesses of his mind, Toji understood the real reason.
It wasnāt about obligation or some half-hearted attempt to help Megumi.
It was the moment you'd broken down in his arms.
Sobbing, so uncharacteristically vulnerable, your back covered in those deep, fresh lashesāfive if he counted correctly. Clinging onto him, in a way you hadn't ever done before, even when Megumi had been ignoring you. And he could see the scars from previous lashings. Some faint, a light pink indention, and others a solid light purple.
He wasnāt good at comforting peopleāreally. And what good was an assassin in that situation?ābut something in that moment had made his head snap. And a mix of different memories and bottled-up emotions compelled him forward. He'd never made impulsive decisions. And Toji Fushiguro was never one for kindness.
But now, here he was. Standing in front of your uncle, the so-called leader of your clan, ready to do something he knew was reckless. Something that could potentially mess things up for both you and his son. A defensive action like this could easily hint at a deeper relationship between the two of you, which was not something he really wanted. These geezers weren't brand new to mind games, but neither was he. And, sure, he could just kill the guy, but that seemed like way too much effort. A few choice words should handle it.
"So, tell me...why is the Toji Fushiguro bothering to grace me with his presence? I canāt imagine you're here to meet the in-laws?" He was fishing, hoping he would rise to the occasion, hint at any personal glimpse into the killer before him.
Toji didnāt take the bait. He just stood there, calm as ever, his face giving nothing away. God, did he hate these clan politics. His dark eyes casually swept the room, clearly boredānot impressed by the fancy decor, not intimidated by the guards at the doors, and definitely not by your uncle. Honestly, he'd rather be back home, digging into some of your homemade yakitori. This whole thing was turning out to be a real drag.
"Whatās the matter? Are you just here to puff your chest and waste my time?" He's getting antsy now,
Tojiās lips twitched into an almost imperceptible smirk. His gaze razor-sharp, locking onto the older man. There was a pause as your uncle locked eyes on Toji's. Unmoving, unflinching, before Toji took a deliberate step forward, closing the distance just enough to make the clan leader stiffen. "You know," Toji said, his voice casual, almost conversational, "itās funny. For a guy so full of himself, youāre awfully quiet about those welts you sent her home with."
Your uncle's eyes widenedābut only for a moment, leaning back with mock nonchalance. "Welts? I have no idea what you're talking about. And what's it to you anyway? Don't tell me you've actually caught feelings for her?"
"Feelings? Donāt kid yourself. Iām not here to play hero, and Iām definitely not here for her." Toji shrugged casually, tossing his head to the side and leaning back to give him some room, his eyes flicking over the clan leader, as if taking his question seriously. "But letās be honestāshe doesnāt look as hot in bed when sheās got all those welts. Kinda ruins the mood, you know?"
Stunned, the clan leader chuckled uneasily, trying to regain some semblance of control. He shouldn't have been too surprised given the Sorcerer Killers stellar reputation for the debauched lifestyle. You were technically his wife afterall, "Ah, wellāthat makes more sense. Using the whore for what she's worth, I guess." Toji could practically hear your resale value dropping by the second, as the clan leader processed this thought before continuing in an almost thoughtful murmur. "Just here to make sure your toy stays intact."
"Call it whatever you want. I donāt care. But if you think Iāll let you mark her skin up again, then youāre even dumber than you look."
The clan leaderās sneer returned, though his eyes betrayed a flicker of uncertainty. Much like a petulant child, not getting his way. "And if I donāt? What then, Fushiguro? Youāll kill me?" Now lets not go putting ideas into his head...
Toji let out a low chuckle, shaking back in laughter at the fear creeping into his voice. "Kill you? Nah. Youāre not worth the effort." He paused, feigning a change of heart as his voice dropped, leaning in again for the kill, his words a hefty weight. "Actually, maybe Iāll stick around. Tear this whole place apart just for fun. I hate this sorcerer bullshit anyway. Watching your precious clan crumble might actually make my day."
The clan leaderās face twitched, his bravado faltering again under Tojiās unrelenting gaze, his words hanging in the air-message loud and clear.
"Fine," he muttered, waving a hand dismissively. "If it means that much to you, no more marks. No need to make this a bigger deal than it is."
Toji smirked, satisfied. He stepped back as he turned toward the door. "Good. Glad we could see eye to eye," he said oh so smoothly.
With that, he strode out, leaving your uncle in an uncomfortable silence. Toji knew the man wouldnāt see him as anything but a threat, and that was exactly what he wanted. As long as they kept their grubby hands off you, he didnāt care what they thoughtāor what he had to say to make them believe it. And hopefully your home clan wouldn't go around making decisions on this calculated move alone.
Now, it was time for some well-deserved meat.
Thankfully, your clan visits were few and far between.
The trip home that day had been nothing short of brutal, and your clan headās disdainful disregard for how you might explain the aftermath to your husband lingered in your mind like a bitter aftertaste.
The weeks dragged on, and before you knew it, the seasons had shifted. Fall gave way to winter, winter melted into spring, and eventually, summer arrived again. Yet, Megumiās absence remained a constant despite the seasonal changes.Ā
Determined to stay connected despite the distance, youād picked up a cell phone not long after Megumi left. Toji had handed over both his and Megumi's numbers with his usual air of indifference. āIn case of emergencies,ā heād said, tossing the paper onto the table like it was no big deal. But to you, it was. Your focus had been on one number only: Megumiās. He was the hardest to reach anyways.Ā
What would you even say? Hi, how are you? Too formal. I miss you already. Too much. The hesitation gnawed at you. After a few moments, you settled on something simple and sent it off, heart pounding in the silence that followed.
Megumiās replies, however, had been scarceāshort, distant, and frustratingly neutral. You tried not to let it sting, reasoning that he was busy adjusting to his new life at Jujutsu Tech. He had training, studies, and an entirely new world to navigate. But the lack of insight into his world left you feeling unmoored and oh so helpless.
Did he eat well? Was he overworking himself? Did he even want to hear from you? The unanswered questions piled up, an invisible weight pressing on your chest.
When his birthday came, youād agonized over whether to call, but the fear of interruptingāor worse, being brushed offākept your fingers from dialing. Instead, you texted him, wishing him a happy birthday in a message that felt far too impersonal. Hours later, his reply came: a simple thank you.
It was polite, but it wasnāt enough. It didnāt tell you if he was happy, if heād smiled at your message, if heād even thought of you beyond that brief acknowledgment. The distance between you felt larger than ever, and you couldnāt help but wonder if he was slipping further awayāor if you were.
You hopedāprayedāthat heād found some happiness at school. That maybe the time away had helped him grow, helped him heal in ways you couldnāt. You wondered if his sharp tongue and stubborn attitude had softened enough to allow for real friendships. Did he smile more? Did he laugh? You pictured him in that new world, surrounded by people who might understand him better.
As summer approached, anticipation and unease twisted in your chest, a slow, suffocating knot that tightened with each passing day. The thought of seeing him again stirred a mix of emotionsāexcitement, yes, but also a quiet fear that plagued you. Would he still look at you with that same guarded expression? Would the distance heād created remain? Would he persist with questions you couldn't answer?
His parting words haunted you, echoing in the quiet moments when your mind wandered too far. You replayed that last conversation over and over, dissecting every syllable, every pause, every look. The unspoken questions lingered like ghosts: Had you done enough? Said enough? Youād wished, countless times, that youād found the right words to ease the tension before he left.
Now, with the summer sun creeping closer, you could only wonder if it was too late to mend what had been brokenāor if it had been broken at all.
And then, one quiet afternoon, he came home.
The sound of the door creaking open sent a jolt through you. Without thinking, you found yourself halfway down the hallway, your heart pounding in your chest.
When you saw him, you frozeāand so did he.
He stood in the doorway, his tall frame outlined by the golden glow of the late afternoon sun. A faint breeze followed him in, tousling his hair and leaving it slightly messy, adding to the disheveled charm he carried so effortlessly. His piercing eyes locked onto yours, and for a moment, the world seemed to fall away.
Neither of you spoke. The silence stretched, laden but charged, his gaze lingering on your face as if he were trying to memorize every detail. He looked differentāolder, his features sharper, his presence more commanding. You still found yourself struggling to recognize him each time you saw himāsuch a common occurrence now that it was almost expected. There was something in his eyes, something softer, more vulnerable. He looked like he wanted to say something.
āMegumi,ā you whispered, full of hesitance. Your voice almost broke under the weight of the moment, a flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm you.
He didnāt move, his hands still gripping the straps of the bag slung over his shoulder. For a second, you thought he wouldnāt respond. Then he exhaled, his shoulders relaxing just a fraction as he stepped further inside.
āHey,ā he said softly, the warmth in his voice wrapping around you like a balm. It was a simple word, but it carried so muchāa mixture of relief, uncertainty, and something deeperāsomething unfamiliar, that made your chest well up.
Youād missed him more than you dared to admit. More than youād allowed yourself to feel during the long months of silence. And now, standing here, the space between you felt both impossibly vast and achingly small.
For a moment, neither of you moved. Then, without a second thought, you closed the space between you and wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug. He stiffened, caught off guard, before slowly, his arms came up to hold you, and to your surprise, he hugged you back. Not hesitantly or awkwardly, but fully, his arms wrapping securely around you and pulling you close, almost flush to him. His head dipped down, his nose brushing against your hair as he held you firmly against his chest.
āWelcome home,ā you murmured, unable to keep the brittleness from your tone, your cheek pressed against him. The words felt fragile, as though the moment might shatter if you spoke too loudly.
He didnāt respond immediately, but you felt him exhale, a deep, contented sigh that seemed to come from somewhere buried deep inside. His nose pushed further into your hair, and his grip tightened just enough to knock the breath out of you.
āI missed you,ā his voice so quiet it was almost lost in the stillness. You hadn't expected it, the sentiment not lost on you. It'd been too long, the texts too short, and the emptiness of the house too loud. But the way his arms enveloped you, strong and protective, took away all of those negative feelings.
Your arms tightened around him in return, head still laying on his chest. The words slipping from your lips, practically dripping with affection. āI missed you too.ā
Finally, after what felt like both seconds and forever, he shifted slightly, loosening his hold just enough for you to pull back. When your eyes met his again, you couldn't help the small smile plastered on your face. He looked at you like you were the only thing in the world that mattered, and it sent a bittersweet ache through your chest, a feeling you didnāt quite know how to name.
The corner of his mouth twitched, āYou text a lot, you know that?ā
A soft laugh bubbled out of you. āAnd youāre terrible at replying.ā
āDinnerās already started,ā remembering the pan still on the stove. āYouāre probably starving.ā
He didnāt let go immediately, his hands lingering on your arms as if reluctant to let the moment end. āYeah,ā his voice low, as a faint flush crept up his cheeks, he finally stepped back. āStarving.ā
You gave him a warm smile, brushing your hand lightly against his arm before turning toward the kitchen. Even as you moved away, you could feel his gaze lingering on you from behindāheavy, unrelenting, and more present that he previously was. Whatever walls had been between you beforeāwhatever distance heād tried to createāseemed to crumble in that quiet, intimate moment. Just what happened while he was at school?
Dinner that night was warm and comforting, a feeling you hadnāt experienced in what felt like forever.
āSo, how was school? Are you making any friends?ā you chirp, pacing around the kitchen, so aware of his eyes tracing your every movement. The excitement in your tone was impossible to miss, a lightness that hadnāt been there in months. After so many quiet dinners with only Toji for company, the thought of someone else at the table made you relieved. Even if the two of you had been getting along better recently.
Megumi glanced up from his plate, pausing for a moment before answering. āItās...fine,ā he said, his tone clipped but not unkind. āIām focused on my training. Thatās what matters.ā
You hummed, a small smile tugging at your lips. You don't miss the evasiveness of his answer. āStill, I hope youāre finding time to enjoy yourself, even just a little.ā
He didnāt respond right away, fiddling with his food, his gaze briefly dropping to his plate.
āMake any friends?ā you try again, gently.
āA few,ā he admitted, his tone reluctant but not dismissive.
āReally?ā you hum out again, glancing over your shoulder at him. You wanted him to open up to you, but with his nature it wasn't exaclty going to be easy to get him to talk. āAnyone special?ā
He shrugged, eyes still downcast. āNot really,ā he replied, his voice neutral but you saw the way he trailed off, lost in his own thoughts.
You paused, raising an eyebrow at him, deciding to press a little more. āCāmon, Megumi,ā you teased lightly, turning back to the stove. Your tone intentionally unserious. āI know youāre not that antisocial. Youāve got to be opening up a little, right?ā
His lips twitched, almost forming a smile, but the expression didnāt quite land. āItās fine,ā he groaned, though his tone softened slightly, as if the question hadnāt entirely annoyed him. āIāve been busy.ā
You hummed again in acknowledgment, not pushing him further, but your smile lingered. You were just glad to have him here, back where he belonged. Actually talking to you. Even if he wasnāt saying much, his presence spoke volumes.
Your questions continued easilyāabout school, his classes, his life outside of the houseāand though his answers were typically grumpy and brief, you didnāt mind. It was the fact that he was answering at all, the fact that he wasnāt shutting you out, that made it all feel worthwhile. You didnāt dare bring up the tension from last summer, not wanting to risk spoiling the fragile good mood.
Toji was out for the night, leaving the house blissfully quiet, and Megumi made no comment on the food, though he cleaned his plate for the second time. It was a small victory, but it still left you smiling as you settled onto the couch afterward.
Megumi surprised you by sitting beside you. He didnāt say anything, just crossed his arms and leaned back, his expression neutral as you put on a movie. Sure, he'd sat near you before, but the long months that followed his absence made you tense a bit. He didnāt seem particularly interested in the movie you put on, but you heard no complaints.
At some point, exhaustion crept up on you. The day had been long, and the warmth of the room, combined with Megumiās quiet, steady presence, lulled you into sleep. Without realizing it, you shifted slightly, leaning toward him, your head eventually coming to rest against his shoulder.
Megumi, of course, noticed immediately.
He stiffened at first, his entire body going rigid as he felt the soft weight of you curling against him. His breath hitched, his heart pounding so hard it felt like it would break out of his chest. His mind screamed at him to stay still, to not move or make a sound.
But then he glanced down.
You looked so peaceful, so utterly at ease with him, and it sent a surge of emotions through him that he could barely contain. Warmth, nervousness, longingāit all tangled together, leaving him frozen in place. The faint light from the television cast soft shadows across your face, and he couldnāt tear his eyes away.
You trusted him so much, leaned into him so easily, and it made him ache with something deep and primal. He didnāt know if he deserved thisāif he deserved youābut he couldnāt stop himself from savoring the moment.
Tentatively, he allowed himself to relax, his shoulder shifting slightly to give you more room. His fingers twitched in his lap, aching to reach out and brush a stray strand of hair from your face, but he held himself back. He couldnāt ruin this.
He stayed like that, unmoving, as you curled closer, your breathing soft and even against him. Every part of him burned with the overwhelming need to keep you like this, to hold you, to never let you go.Ā
When the movie ended, and the room fell into quiet stillness, he carefully reached for the blanket draped over the back of the couch. Gently, he pulled it over you, his hand brushing your arm as he tucked it around you. The brief contact sent a shiver down his spine, but he forced himself to pull away.
He refused to leave, wanting to be with you like this as long as possible.Ā
The refined Colonel of the Farspace fleet sat at his desk as he mindlessly scrolled through his phone. He was staked out on this mission that seemed as though it would never end. Following complaints about new fluctuations being found near areas close to the N109 zone, his team was dispatched to be of assistance to the civilians near the desolate city.
āThis is pointlessā¦ā Caleb muttered to himself. He couldnāt care less about the lives of random people when he had you to look forward to back at home. He hated leaving you behind, especially for this long. You were barely able to take care of yourself by his standards. It had taken him years to finally get you to a point where he could accept these long missions without having to worry about you constantly. Caleb was always there to guide youā¦and mold you. He picked out your outfits, planned your meals and even made sure you were bathed properly. Of course he also protected you from harm. With your heart condition and a constant bounty on your head thanks to EVER it was clear and obvious to him that he was the only person who could protect you. You were too naive and trusting of others to survive on your own.
It took a lot of convincing to allow him to let you into the Hunterās Association, and even that is possibly a temporary thing. If Caleb hadnāt put together a special force team to make sure he could always keep tabs on you at work, he would have never agreed to such a thing.
These strict rules were for your own good, you needed someone like him that knew every intricate thing about you to protect you and Caleb knew everything about you. He was all you had, and as much as you put up fights about his decisions, you both knew it was for the best.
Of course being your ultimate protector came with certainā¦stipulations.
Caleb heaved a deep sigh as he got word that the last civilian was finally evacuated and closed his notes. Hopefully these fluctuations would cease soon, the faster he could get back to you the better his mood would be.
As Caleb finished wrapping up he grabbed his phone to send you a quick update, as he did so he noticed a notification.
[Y/Nās heart rate has significantly increased within the last 30mins along with power up of āMagic Wandā Please encourage deep breaths and water to reduce heart rate back to normal.]
āWell whadaya know. Looks like pips has been missing meā¦ā. The colonel scoffed as he put his phone away.
āTime to head home.ā
āAh-Aghhā¦ā As you reached your third orgasm you panted as you grabbed your vibrating wand to shut it off finally.
You reached for the towel you were laying on and cleaned your toy off as you caught your breath.
As you laid on the bed you often shared with Caleb you immediately felt a pang of guilt as you noticed his empty spot. Outside of missing him you remembered that masturbating without his permission was one of Calebās many rules.
You began to rationalize the guilt you felt. It had been 2 weeks of not seeing him and accordingly you were growing desperate and frankly a little delusional. Calebās missions had never gone on this long before, you had to do somethingā¦anything to keep your mind from thinking of the worst.
So instead of worrying if he was alive or not you choose to remember him panting into your ear and clinging to your waist. He was always so desperate to be inside of you. His moans were like silent prayers that the feeling of bringing you to completion would never have to end. Calebās kisses were hungry, fueled with passion you had never experienced before.
The thoughts of Caleb ravishing your body when he came home especially in his colonel outfit was almost enough to make you come undone again right then and there. But a text from Caleb brought you out of your trance.
[Caleb: I have a surprise for you (ā¢Ģį“ā¢Ģ)Ł]
You laughed at the cute emoticon he used and decided to match his energy.
[Y/N: I hope itās a fun surprise (*^āæ^*)]
Putting down your phone you squealed to yourself at the thought of your Caleb finally coming back home to you. After throwing on some pajamas you went downstairs to wait in the living room patiently.
After what seemed like forever you heard the front door security system start the grueling process of unlocking the door. Caleb had his home in Skyhaven heavily armed and locked down. He swore it was because of the āgrowing crime rateā in Skyhaven, but you just thought he was being paranoid.
āWelcome home Colonel!!ā You pounced onto Caleb as he entered the door, wrapping your arms around his neck and peppering kisses all over his face.
Caleb immediately blushed a deep red and threw his hat off as he pulled your legs onto him and kissed your lips deeply.
āThanks pips, Iāve missed you.ā He was barely able to get his sentence out as he caught his breath and kissed you again.
The two of you made out in the doorway to your home. Caleb used his gravity evol to close the door behind him as he made his way to the couch. Just as his evol suggested it was as if your bodies had been destined to combine into one.
You ground your hips onto his lap, your pussy doing the talking for you as your mouth was exploring your handsome colonel. Caleb took pause at times to nuzzle into your neck as his hands grazed your body. His hands had to remember what your body felt like, grabbing your ass hard and gripping your waist as if you would slip from his grasp.
Lost in the trance of remembering your body, Caleb remembered that he knew you had broken one of his rules. A punishment was in order but he wanted to give you an opportunity to explain yourself. He formed a plan in his head and focused on kissing you again.
āCalebā¦please can we-ā You whispered in his ear, your lips nibbling at the small crevices you could find. You were still wet from the self-session you had moments ago but Caleb would never find outā¦right?
āOf course pips, anything for my obedient girl.ā Caleb grinned as he spoke, but his eyes hid a darker motive behind them. Caleb propped you off of the couch and stood to take his uniform off when you grabbed his arm.
āWait Calebā¦could you keep your uniform on?ā You asked with the softest glow in your eyes you could manage. You knew it would make Caleb fold immediately, and it did.
āSure baby, you want the Colonel to help you out with aā¦special mission?ā Caleb picked you up and put his hat on you rustling with your hair.
āAg- Caleb!!ā You laughed as he teased you leaning into his embrace as he brought you upstairs to your room.
Upstairs.
SHIT You cursed to yourself as you got a flashback to you leaving your vibrating wand on the bed after you got ready to see Caleb. It was too late now, you were fucked.
Caleb didnāt always get upset with you but when his rules were broken there was no telling what punishment he would come up with. There was one time you had forgotten to message him when you were on your break from work. He got so upset that he didnāt let you leave the house for weeks, convinced that you had been kidnapped without his direct supervision.
Being brought back to reality you realized you had no time to game plan as you walked into the scene of the crime.
Caleb scoffed to himself seeing the evidence of your good time on your bed. He squeezed you briefly, allowing himself to stay calm. The plan would work, he was sure of it. Walking toward the bed he placed you on the edge and started kissing your neck leaving marks at various places.
You moaned in response, grabbing onto his shoulders as you felt him kneel down your body. Caleb kissed your breast through your shirt for a few moments before he took it off completely, letting them fall back into place. Caleb was kneeling on the ground now, hugging you at your waist as he kissed your stomach and thighs. He inched painfully close to your pussy, and you were growing desperate instinctively reaching for his hair.
āColonelā¦I want you inside me.ā You panted, head rolling back.
Caleb nodded before standing up.
āI know pips, but I saw that you had this out.ā Caleb reached for the magic wand that was still lying on the bed.
Before you could react Caleb had sent out his evol to hold you in place on the bed. He leaned down to spread your legs apart leaving you exposed to his doings.
āI think itās so nice of you to leave toys out for my return, you must want me to use it on you yeah? I think we can wait for me to touch you for a while.ā Caleb flashed what now was a stupid grin in your opinion as he worked to take your shorts off. Unbeknownst to him you hadnāt been wearing underwear. The cold air hit your pussy and caused your body to jolt to no avail, given the restriction of gravity.
āCaleb wait..wait we donāt have to-ā
āShhh, your colonel is here to make you feel good, pips, not another word understood?ā
You nodded your head silently, it was apparent the time for playing games was over.
Caleb went back to your thighs, nuzzling in between them to have a better view of your pussy. It was practically throbbing already. Caleb gave your thigh a tight squeeze before turning the wand on the lowest setting, he placed it just outside your walls, eliciting a groan from you.
āI know I knowā¦itāll be okay baby, just a little bit longer.ā Calebās voice was like the calm before the storm, and right now you were sure you were about to be in the eye of it.
Caleb hummed to himself as he started to move the vibrator, still on the lowest setting closer to your clit. Relief washed over your body now that it was getting the attention it craved, but it only lasted for a second before Caleb removed the toy entirely.
āCalebbb..ā You groaned as tears started to form in your eyes, you didnāt know how much longer you could take this. You so desperately wanted to grab onto something or someone to ground you but Caleb practically had you in the palm of his hand, unmoving and unyielding.
āI said no talking pips, you need to listen to your colonel if you want to cum. Thatās an order.ā Caleb lifted his free hand to wipe at the tears on your face as soft whimpers left your lips.
Caleb turned the vibrator back on this time to the highest power setting and placed it directly on your clit. He held it there for exactly ten seconds before taking it away completely. You tried to buck your hips to gain some type of friction but were met with nothing. Caleb loved seeing you like this. Face flushed, tears flowing and willing to do anything to make him happy. He wondered how long it would take you to apologize for your behavior but he didnāt care at this point. His own erection was beginning to make his uniform uncomfortably tight. He decided that as long as you learned your lesson he would wait for as long as it took.
It had seemed as if minutes had gone by in your bedroom. The wetness from your pussy had traveled down your thighs and Caleb would just lap up the excess as it did. The torture of the wand, no of not being touched by Caleb was starting to make you unravel. You were shedding full tears now as he continued the onslaught on your pussy.
āCalebā¦please..I-Iām sorry.ā You whined out, finally breaking your silence about what you did.
Caleb lifted up from sucking on your thigh, he grinned before once again leaving the wand on you.
āSorry for what pips? Are you saying you broke a rule while I was gone?ā Caleb relaxed slightly, realizing his plan had finally paid off.
You nodded your head and tried to speak but the wand going made it feel impossible.
āGo on pips,ā Caleb stood up, keeping the wand on your clit. He used his other hand to forcibly grab your jaw to look up at him. You tried to shake your head away but he just pushed the wand deeper into you.
āIf you want this to end I suggest you start talkingā¦now.ā
It was as if the soft Caleb that was giving you kisses and teasing you slowly was replaced with a different Caleb. The way he got when you broke his rules, the rules he used to protect you. The feeling of guilt paired with how horny you were at his stern voice overtook you. You cried as you finally confessed.
āOkay Okay! I-I touched myself without your permission while you were goneā¦Iām sorry Cale-AGH!ā As you finished confessing a climax ripped through your body.
As if on cue Calebās gravity evol finally released itself, and you fell backwards onto the bed. Caleb wasted no time easing you down and immediately taking your wet pussy into his mouth.
You practically screamed as he did so, he didnāt give your body a chance to recover before absolutely devouring you. Just as much as he was punishing you for touching yourself there was punishment for him to see you in such a state and not have his way with you as he pleased.
You reached for Calebās hair as his head bobbed up and down, he was eating like he hadnāt eaten a meal his entire trip. He groaned into your pussy, switching between taking your clit in his mouth and forcing his tongue down your hole as far as it would go. He gripped your thighs in his hands and propped up your legs to go deeper.
Shortly after another orgasm found its way to you, you couldāve sworn you saw planes flying as you came down from the high. By the time you did and had recollection of what was happening Caleb was taking off his pants.
He looked into your eyes before reaching down to kiss you, you could taste yourself on his tongue as he explored your mouth. Finally he pulled away with a pop.
āOnly I can touch youā¦understand?ā Caleb was stern again as he lined himself up with you. He let his cock graze the opening of your pussy a few times pulling a whine from you before he shoved his tip in.
You arched off the bed and grabbed at his arm to stabilize yourself. Caleb used one hand to keep your hips still and the other to grab your neck as he kissed you. The moment he touched your lips he buried himself in you. As he fucked you he kissed the tears that fell down your cheeks.
You nodded to his question after finally being able to catch your breath adjusting to his cock inside you.
āI understand Calebā¦I wonāt do it again. I promise.ā You cried out panting as he increased his pace.
āI know you wonāt love, youāre my good girl right?ā Caleb answered you, putting both hands on your hips.
He indulged himself, pumping into you like his life depended on it and in a way it did. He protected you, kept you safe and well fed. He let you have everything you could ever want. Of course your body was the one thing he wanted in return. You belonged to him and it was crucial that you understood that, in every aspect. He was tuned in to the moans you were letting escape your lips. It was music to his ears and a confirmation that this was all for your own good. No one was capable of making you feel as good as he was.
āCaleb Iām close-ā You managed to whimper out. Caleb nodded before leaning down to kiss you.
āMe too, come with me?ā Caleb whispered before meeting your lips and letting his body convulse as his seed painted the inside of your womb. You squeezed around him in response, not wanting the moment to be over.
After a second or two the both of you laid there together on the bed, covered in each other and not wanting it to be any other way.
Later Caleb spoke to you as he rinsed your hair.
āI didnāt go too rough on you right pips?ā
There was a brief silence as you played with the bubbles in the bath he had drawn for you.
āNo, of course not. I deserved it, I shouldnāt have broken a ruleā¦ā You responded, putting your head down. You felt awful about breaking one of Calebās rules, but deep downā¦you would do it again. Seeing him so angry at you made you feel things that you hadnāt felt before. You wondered what rules you could break next.
āIām glad you learned your lesson Y/N. Come on, letās finish up here, Iāll dry your hair off.ā Caleb kissed your shoulder as he stood up to get your towel ready.

The sheets have been twisted and disregarded. His hands move up your sides then come to a rest in your palms. You smile as his nose traces your neck then his lips cover yours. Needy, sloppy kisses that make you more desperate for him than oxygen.
He greedly keeps your arms above your head but only one of his massive hands keeps them there. You don't think to struggle as you soak the remaining sheet. Your words get caught in your throat for a bit but you manage to swallow out, "safe word?"
His hand traces your nipple as he leans back over you. Gazing into your eyes he quenches your thrist with another kiss and runs his nose to the side of yours.
"Come on babygirl," he leans in even closer so his lips dance on your ear. "I don't have a safe word. I don't like to stop, I just keep going."
