Kal and Syl!

kaladin doodles bc i finished row!! trying to get back into drawing him

Anyway, I was thinking about Syl being taken away from Kaladin whilst hanging out the washing and I think it’s a really good lesson. Becuase a person can hurt you, betray etc and you might have to leave or remove them from your life for a bit, or people who care for you make you do so (Kaladin making two vows and thereby betraying Syl and the Stormfather taking her back). But when the person realises what they’ve done and tries to make up for it and reconcile, once they realise what they’re doing and stop doing it or make up for it (which can take a lot), you can come back (Kaladin protecting the King and saying the 2nd oath). Also it shows that care and love toward the other can still remain through out this, but you need to stop and right what you’ve done before the person may come back (Syl still cares for Kaladin and wants to come back despite him betraying her, she just has to wait until he realises whats going on and stops himself).
