new kicks
I've made this pattern* twice, but they were both over a year ago, and I can't remember: When it says "slip 1 with yarn in front," does it mean knitwise or purlwise? (For the straight, non lacy edge.) I don't have enough knitting experience to be able to tell just by looking at what I did last time, and apparently I didn't think to put it in my notes.
The whole thing is garter stitch, so there are almost no purl stitches, which makes me think I should slip knitwise. But the fact that it's with the yarn in front makes me think I should slip purlwise. Looking at it, my feeling is that purlwise is correct. I imagine it will become clear after the first few rows.
