Of course it doesn't always work, since Dick usually breaks out of the binds and takes over but it gets the message across.
Oh also if Slade did come back for them he'd actually grab Tim and not Dick, not because he likes Tim better, but because he knows where Tim goes Dick follows
Im imagining a scene where Dick hunts Slade down after he's taken Tim and he walks into Tim tied up, not drugged, but clearly paralyzed and unable to move or fight back (a paralysis drug), and Slades fucking into him slowly, almost like he's teasing Tim, who likes it rough.
