Ingredients: 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup chopped pecans. 1/4 cup butterscotch chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans and butterscotch chips. Transfer the cookie dough to a cast-iron skillet, and press it down evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
