TsukiYama | Haikyuu!! | Letter
A/N: This is a sample for my letter commissions.
I don't understand what's so romantic about writing letters that will take weeks to reach us over video calling on our phones. Are you tired of seeing me everyday, even when we're far away? I thought you're supposed to be the sentimental one.
Anyways, you asked for this, so I'm indulging you. My senpai from the expedition says I took notes so meticulously, which I do because I'm not like either of those idiots with a 5s attention span for anything other than volleyball, but at the time, I was trying to draft what I would even talk about in this letter.
We already talk about our days before we go to sleep. What can I tell you that you don't even already know? We've been stuck to the hip since childhood, and we never got unstuck because we went with the tired cliche of falling in love and shit. Like, is there even anything else left for me to say?
You know more than anyone, I'm not a poet or the best at creative writing. And it's not like you don't already know how I feel about you when you've made me say it over and over again throughout the years. You wrangled out a confession out of me even after we got together. Who does that? That was your most Hinata moment yet. Is that what you want? Be compared to the squirt outside of volleyball?
Heh. You're probably groaning by now but you already knew it'd be like this, didn't you?
It's easier to have you ask me stuff instead of guessing things like this. I texted Yachi to give me suggestions and she said to tell you the stuff here that reminded me of you so here I go.
The sweltering heat made me think of the summer where we basically died on the porch of your grandmother's house because they took forever to fill up the kiddie pool.
The ramen tasted like one of those experimental things you tried to do by adding mayonaise or some other shit to instant ramen because you saw something on Tiktok.
The right side of the bed reminds me that this trip will be a week without you and by the time you're reading this, I hope you've already filled your place there.
