Hello this might be a little bit difficult but would you have links for the Klixx toy that deliver to France..? Or at least to England
Anon, I can’t always promise that I’ll find things, but that never stops me from looking. Have Google, will make the valiant attempt!
Shipping to France from a European, non-English-listing supplier is a bit difficult for me, simply because of the language barrier. I didn’t find anything, but I wasn’t sure that I would, given that I was searching in English. And, unlike with Dutch, I’m not enough sure of how to translate it (and don’t have a relative to run said translation past) to look for you in French, I’m sorry.
Shipping to the UK or Europe from a local English-listing supplier is also a bit difficult … but it really shouldn’t be. For some reason, finding a Klixx on UK websites is a bit like, if you forgive me for the metaphor, finding hen’s teeth: they don’t exist to find. There were a few Amazon listings under the name “Wacky Tracks” … starting from £39.65 GBP! I’m not even linking them, anon, because there’s no way in all the hells anyone is going to pay that! The vast majority of the hits available led to out-of-stock listings. Since I’ve learnt that Stimtastic’s listing no longer works, I’m curious to know what’s going on with these toys!
If you or anyone wishes to venture Google, try the search terms “Wacky Tracks” and “Snap and Click Toy” in addition to “Klixx”. This said, I did this, several times, and I found a singular listing. I even got to the point of just scrolling through the fidget toy sections on UK stim toy websites like Sensory Education/Cheap Disability Aids. Nope.
TTS has them for £5.99 ex VAT. That’s it.
My feeling, anon, is that you’re going to have to order them from a US-based website and pay the high price of international shipping.
So I went a hunting. Please note that nobody says what their international shipping costs even are, which I understand because it changes by location and weight, but a ballpark-guide for weights to different regions would be incredibly useful. Alas, they just don’t exist.
I checked Amazon, but the listings I found didn’t ship to Australia, France or the UK.
Aussie site Skillbuilders has them for $4.50 or $5.50 AUD depending on length and will ship internationally via arrangement. Please note that I don’t recommend this: Australia Post are ridiculously expensive.
National Autism Resources has them for $3.99 USD or $4.49 USD, and do provide international shipping.
Trainer’s Warehouse has them at $3.50 USD each and does ship to France. They also have the knock-off versions for $1 USD each.
Fidget Club have them for $4.99 USD (the 48 link length) and say they ship to most countries.
So, there are a few sources, anon, but I suspect all of them are going to require expensive international shipping. I hate to leave it like that, because I know that having to purchase from the US all the time is a poor answer for international folk, but I really don’t know where else to find them. I’d love to know why they’re so scarce, though!
If anyone has any suggestions, or knows of a source I have missed (especially a UK or European source that ships to France) please comment!
