“Oh... everyone at UHB affectionately calls her that. Just... don’t do it unless you’re a close friend of hers. It is a spin-off of her name actually. Setskog is a forested and sparsely populated area along our line and the last part of the the name: “skog” means “forest”. “Skau” is dialect slang for “skog”, so “skauen” = “skogen” = “the forest”. We’re basically calling her “the forest”. She hates it, but accepts it when it comes from us closest to her. She very much prefers her full name, she has never been fond of pet names and nick names.”

1: at 3 months old, when step dad was taking her for a walk and unleashed her in the forest. She ran straight home and barked at us to let her in the fence 2: today, at 4,5 years old - dad forgot to close the door for a bit, we assumed she was just sleeping under the stairs. Dad after a while asks where is she?? and opens the door. I panic bc this is fast traffic n sheep country, and sheep chasers are euthanized if not shot on sight, so i say Sausage? & she comes trotting inside in less than a second. She was just eating some grass in the yard you see, am just innocence....
