Illustration for the story "Granfos" from the third book.
Bingsfos' imagination goes a little wild upon learning that Granfos once was standard gauge...
A huge shoutout to my Patreons! Without you, I wouldn't be able to follow my dream the same way I do now. I sincerely want to thank you all, and also apologize for the lack of art lately. I have been a bit deep in my depression and suffered an art block, which I hope is gone now. Life has also been a bit more busy than usual, it often is around this time of year. So, thank you for sticking with me! I really appreciate it! I especially want to thank my longtime Patrons Javier and Connor D. for having supported me for years! It means a lot to me!
Myself and my friend, Hakai Shedo visits the Urskog–Hølandsbanen, taking photos with Høland, Bingsfos and Setskogen. The latter wasn't too pleased to see me and Hakai, heh...

Merry (slightly early) Christmas!
"Merry Christmas from us all! We celebrate on December 24th in Norway, so you're just on time!"
From summer 2023. Pulled these guys out for a photoshoot for a special visitor who had travelled all the way from England to visit us. I was about to put them back inside when he left, but them all these families came over to look at them, so I let them stay outside a while longer. 😅 It's one of the most wholesome days I've had at work yet!

What are the jacks the steamers have for?
"To keep you guessing..."
"To... hijack something maybe?"
"Only Prydz and I have them. They are for minor derailments, to lift and guide us back on the rails."
Been a while! Glad to hear that Setskogen have been keeping busy and you’ve been working on maintenance, Bingsfos. How have you both been with the tourists and passengers recently? No problems from them?
"It has been fun to be out with Setskogen and Kvabben when the tourists come to visit. Setskogen pulled the trains while Kvabben and I stood by the station on display. And there has been no problems this far!"
"Pain will leave you when it's done teaching you"
Illustrations from "Losing someone you love" from Norwegian Railway Stories 1. A story of how to move on after losing a beloved one, in this case a driver (father figure).
It has been 14 years since my own father passed away. The sorrow is still there, but it doesn't hurt as much anymore. I wrote this story based on my own experience of losing someone who meant a lot to me, losing him felt like a wall was removed from our house. I felt everything Setskogen feels in this story and more... But I also learned that time heals, it makes the sharp edges of the sorrow go blunt.
