Seems kinda hypocritical of you to make fun of sizecon. Don't you have an inflation fetish after all?
First off, that convention is catering more towards Giant/Micro Machine fetishists. There’s barely anything inflation related going on, aside from a panel that I’d probably cringe hard at.
And I’m sorry, I just think this convention is a BAD BAD BAD idea. I’m sure everyone who’s gonna go is gonna have a good time, and y’know what? I hope they do. More power to ya.
But at the same time; THIS IS A CONVENTION BASED AROUND DEVIANTART FETISH(ES). REALLY THINK ABOUT THAT. HOW COULD THIS NOT POSSIBLY GO BAD? HMM???
I’m just being real here, anon. I was slightly against SizeCon when they tried the Kickstarter, and I’m still slightly against it now.
Size Con Would Have Been Cool
But I won’t be attending its inaugural year.
I’ve neither time nor money to attend.
School ends in 2ish weeks, I’m still waiting on my internship, and if that doesn’t fall through, I’m diving headfirst into working on my BFA stuff the second the building opens again for the summer session.
Saying it’s a full summer is an understatement.
Hopefully if/when there’s a second year I’ll be able to walk around.
