The worst thing about being a Winx Club fan who got into them through Nickelodeon is seeing how much the fandom hates the version of the show you grew up with. I didn't even know of the original Italian release because it came out when I was born and Nickelodeon was the only channel with the show at the time.
I remember how excited I got watching them level up with the transformations and how they all had different themes coinciding with the plot of the season, how the art and animation style would evolve with every season and and the absolute bangers that are the Believix, Harmonix and Sirenix theme songs) and then I go to the fandom and everyone is talking about how the show should've ended with the Enchantix arc.
I'll admit post Nickelodeon WC had its issues and everyone has a right to feel the way they do about the progression of the show, but I thought once I got into online communities I'd have more people to fangirl over the parts I loved as a kid with but not as many people fuck with Believix as I thought they would and that's the season I keep going back to. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places or maybe I truly have terrible taste but even if so is anyone else's taste in Winx Club just as bad or is it just me for real? πππ
