If I walk away I'm scared I'll never see you again
But I'm fighting for a memory I'm starting to forget

"Maybe it'll sink in next week or in a month ... maybe."Â From Guilford College's 1973 yearbook.
Here's my gallery of unusual imagery from vintage college yearbooks.

Okay but the fact that my favorite manga is actually ending...I can not. I can not. I absolutely can not.
So stoked this came in on my day off :â-)

Sinking In
@aspidersurvivor
Cold water, soap, scrubbing brush. Â It was difficult working around the hole in the shirt, she didnât want to make it bigger, that would just be harder to repair. Â On the white singlet she was wearing, a large, red bloom of blood had spread through the fibres. Â That was an easier solve, it could just be bleached clean, no worries there. Â The flannel shirt, however, was complex in its colouring and did not belong to her.
She was angry. Â Furious. Â Beyond having been physically attacked, the idea that someone thought he had the right to command her made her blood boil. Â She didnât kill her way out of the facility to put up with someone telling her who she could and couldnât associate with. Â She didnât walk out of the X-Mansion when Charles was still kicking about to put up with that kind of paternalism now.
Still, was she putting Peter at risk by association? Â She had a body count behind her, and somewhere out there, someone could have the trigger scent. Â If it was released in the compound, how many would she kill before she fought it off? Â Could she fight it off at all? Â It had been a long time since she had been exposed, and she only managed to resist its power twice. Â Was Kimura waiting behind the next corner, ready to strike? Â There was no way she was dead in all of this, that much was certain.
And then it was entirely possible that she was being paranoid due to being attacked. Â She tried to focus on the soft, cotton weave, working the blood out of the fabric with her fingers in the large laundry basin. Â She heard his approach behind her, and the scent that had become familiar, and immediately wished that she had gone back to the room and gotten changed before she tried washing out this stain. Â The white fabric of the singlet was a little dull from washing, but it seemed to gleam in contrast with the dark, red mark on her abdomen.
âI'm sick of these songs,â she says, but she's also quite obviously very proud that she has created something that really addresses her life. âI respond to people when they're honest,â she says. âI don't respond to the bullshit, and I don't want to put bullshit out there. The album is me, raw and who I am.â - Rolling Stone Interview, 2003
