Yuppp, he tries so hard to hide his stupidly big smile when you shit-talk batman, calling him hypocritical, almosttt a criminal himself, comparing him and all other heroes/vigilantes to little attention freaks.
"A friend to everyone is a friend to none, so how can he save everyone's life without that leading to the ruin of some other lives? I know not my best analogy, but Gotham needs more long-term solutions, this short-team beat their bones and get applauded by everyone alone is no good." Jason nodded, as you continued.

౨ Lit!Major Jason OR Redhood who strikes the guy at the back of his neck, resulting in him falling to the ground with a loud thud. He takes a look at you, his heart beat rapid (ba-dump, ba-dump like a teenager seeing their crush.)
He's suprised and probably proud to see you give the guy a good kick in the nuts, before snatching your bag off of his hand and muttering a quick thanks to redhood before hurridly leaving.
ৎ Lit!Major Jason who listens as you retell this story in the library, and he can't help becoming a tomato when you utter the words, "I know I said most "heros/vigilantes" with air commas are lowk righteous bitches, but redhood is lowk a fine bitch!"
ৎ Lit!Major Jason who since then offers to walk you back home every night. Even when you've got separate schedules, he lies and comes back around campus till you're done to drop you back home.
You both are beaming chatter boxes on your way back, and sometimes dull horse-shit filled socks when it's a particularly tiring day.
ৎ Lit!Major Jason who sometimes has a strong urge to open up to you, tell you all of it, his childhood, bruce, resurrection, and his feelings that he's insanely in denial of.
He has thought of writing his life within a book, multiple times.
He could fake-pretend hire you as a beta-reader and ask your opinion, and indirectly talk to you about his life. But he isn't that depraved, not yet anyways.
For now he's happy admiring from afar, as long you still trust him, love him, and consider him your Jason.
ৎ Lit!Major Jason who notices you talking more about redhood lately, "atleast he accepts that he's a criminal too, unlike batman."
౨ Lit!Major Jason who sees you reading lights-out (cough,cough) and unlike usual, instead of going off about how glorious or pathetic the book is, you instantly put it back in your tote bag when he sees you.
It piques his curiosity, just like the internet hunting down the hiding couple at the coldplay concert . Same day, he's at the bookstore getting himself a copy of Lights Out as well.
Have you ever thought of Redhood while reading it? The question plagues his mind, and he's now immsensely jealous of his masked-self
