Galathea: As white as milk (Greek). In mythology, Galatea was a sea nymph who rode in a chariot drawn by dolphins.
Galathea didn't choose dry land. When a relentless tide separated her from her reef and cast her onto an unknown beach, the ancient magic of her people exacted its toll to keep her alive: her shimmering tail gave way to mortal legs. Trapped in the dry world, she tried to find her family for months, her heart aching with longing for the depths, she found refuge in a beautiful beach. Now 5 years later, she is used to live among humans, she even has her own refuge on Sulani. So as not to forget who she was, Galathea began to transform her new surroundings. She could no longer come back to her place in the ocean, so she brought the ocean indoors.
