I really loved how everyone looked in these shots. The more I played, though, the more I realized this just wasn't the story I wanted to tell anymore. It happens sometimes.

These screenshots were actually taken before I got pissed off, deleted everything, and started my game completely over 😭 Then I took a pretty long break because I wasn't just frustrated with my game... I honestly had zero inspiration left.

Looking back, I think I was trying way too hard to tell stories a certain way instead of just enjoying the game. So now I'm rebuilding everything from scratch, getting ready to start the Brew & Bloom Legacy Challenge. I'm hoping it'll help me fall back in love with gameplay and become a better storyteller by letting things happen naturally instead of trying to control every little detail.

Still though... these two will always have a special place in my game.

I recently got a new pc and needed a refresh, so I purposely wiped my sims saves and mods. After a few weeks of carefully curating my mod/cc collection with all the new space I have, I've started playing again.

First Day of Training 🤸‍♀️✨ The rhythmic gymnastics adventure has begun! Luna and Estella are already in the studio, ready to learn their first moves. The sparkle in their eyes shows that between every twirl, lots of fun and dedication are on the way. We can’t wait to see these little athletes shining on the mat! 🎀🏅

Cute couples I've made over the last couple of months. Honestly, I haven't been posting much lately. Between game issues, waiting to update, and just a lack of inspiration, I've mostly been taking a break and trying to figure out what I actually want from my game.

One thing I do know is that I want a save file that lasts for generations. I want sims whose lives connect, whose kids grow up together, become friends, enemies, fall in love, and continue the story. That's part of why I've made so many pregnant sims lately 😭

I've also been playing around with an idea loosely inspired by my own life. I became a mother as a teenager, and while her story wouldn't be mine, I know some of the realities that come with it. I think it would be fun to let gameplay decide more of the story instead of planning every little detail.
