This is Connor Frio, who I made-over for a Pixelated Puddings challenge several months ago. I have decided to share him in the hope it will raise awareness of @sims3hasstoppedworking​‘s fundraising efforts so her mum can have a bit of dignity and comfort. 

Sadly, Ewa’s mum has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and is very ill. You can read her post HERE (which has a link to her Paypal) and if you click the link to the Crowdfunding site you can see that she has provided the appropriate documentation to prove credibility of her situation. If you check her blog you will also see that it is more or less a relentless list of hospital admissions and prescriptions and posts about how Ewa and her mum are repeatedly let down by the brutal Polish health system.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you 💜

The file size is large because I have zipped the Sim File, Sims3pack and a package version together so you need to open it and choose the version you want. The package file would need to go in your Mods -> Packages folder and will include the CC I have used as well as ensure that Connor appears exactly as he should in your game. It’s up to you.

Ewa, aka @sims3hasstoppedworking, has graciously allowed me to recreate her sim, Xal, and I decided to make this mini comic to hopefully bring some joy, but more importantly, to help raise awareness for the fundraising Ewa is doing for her mother who is terminally ill with cervical cancer.

Ewa is an incredibly kind and supportive friend who has made being part of the Simblr community so enjoyable - and not just for me, but countless others as well.

She is taking care of her mother full-time, despite struggling with her own health issues, and they need help with the cost of medical supplies. It has been incredibly difficult to get the care and support her mother needs from the Polish healthcare system.

Ewa needs to buy things such as urine bags, cream for pressure sores, various medications, ambulance transports, etc. You can find an extensive list of recent purchases HERE. (Ewa posts general updates on her mom, medical & prescription documents, as well as receipts & photos of her purchases so that you can see exactly what you’re helping them with)

Currently, Ewa has raised over 14,000 Polish Złoty (PLN) with a goal of 20,000 PLN. The goal is 71% complete!

Here’s a few ways you can help Ewa and her mother:

1.) Donate to Ewa’s PayPal or Polish Crowd Funding Site. A little goes a long way, and anything helps! For example: 5 US Dollars is 19.16 PLN. (some other countries have similar conversion rates)

5 PLN can buy 2 urine bags. 10 PLN can buy a months worth of Bisoprolol tablets. 7 PLN can buy 1 small nutrition meal or 1 pack of probiotics. 15 PLN can buy 2 packs of wet wipes. 20 PLN can buy 1 pack of Simeticon capsules, etc, etc.

2.) Reblog Ewa’s post about her mother’s situation to help spread the word

3.) Reblog this mini comic or any of the amazing TS3 CC that has been made for Ewa by other fellow simmers to help spread the word

4.) Send Ewa and her mother a message of love, support, encouragement, or even a gif to make them smile - they would really enjoy hearing from you, and the support they’re received has helped them keep going!

As a show of support for Ewa (@sims3hasstoppedworking) and her Mother, who is terminally ill with cervical cancer, I share this lot with you and ask that you think about Ewa and offer her your support if you can please. You can read about it here. Ways you can do that are:

1. Donate what ever you can afford to her fund.

2. Send Ewa a message of support, encouragement or a gif.

She has been incredibly strong, but she still has a lot to bear and your support could make all the difference. The Polish health system is really brutal and Ewa’s mum is currently in hospital with an infection and other problems - so please help her to give her mother as pleasant and stress free a time as she can as the New Year quickly approaches by doing whatever you can.
