I've been fooling around Praaven (original by @potato-ballad-sims, reworked by @nornities and @simsmidgen) around the same time I read threads on historically accurate medieval building reconstructions.

Because of that I ended up reworking the façade of the buildings around the Market Square (specifically the City Hall and the Merchants' Guild) (I felt they needed some more colors, given the time period, as it's supposed to be set in late 14th Century Bohemia iirc).

Next step: remove the sunflowers from all lots that have them (as they're native to Mexico, which hasn't been invaded up to the 1490s)

Someone requested the CAW files for Praaven Reworked, so here they are. Mind, this is not a playable world! The ready to play world can be found here.

This download contains everything you need to edit the world in CAW and make a new export. I changed the world ID so your export won't conflict with any other version and can be installed at the same time as the original Praaven and Praaven Reworked.

If television executives could throw millions at the obnoxious Osbournes to have their own reality TV show for a decade, long overdue someone gave the Numans their own science fiction TV show.

Hiya! 👋 I have a few things that I have backed up for myself. Unfortunately it’s not the entire shebang. I do believe (at least I think) @simsmidgen has  it all archived. I remember her saying so from these two post - https://simsmidgen.tumblr.com/search/steffor I would see if she has what you are looking for. If there is stuff still missing, let me know and maybe we can track it down. I haven’t been active in a hot minute...so I could be completely wrong about who has archived what. So keep that in mind. 😉

Thank you @simsmidgen for your suggestion! I wouldn’t have mixed the genetics of Mungo and Bismarck otherwise, and I’m very pleased with the outcome.

@hecq and @peacemaker-ic guessed right, I used #4 of course. Just made the nose a bit wider, and gave him the protruding ears this face deserves.

The second one is #8, and I didn’t change anything here with sliders. I just threw all the usual stuff at them. The updated list of my CC resources will come very soon by the way.

They both have impressive profiles, and I finally had use for the Prince Valiant hair. 

Now into the game to make proper screenshots of these two.

This was the outcome of genetically mixing Mungo Glencuddy and Bismarck DuPlessis.

As usual, the game threw all kind of random accessories (6) and face details at them, the latter almost exclusively CC from the mouth corner slot. That’s why all of them have heavy nasolabial folds despite being teenagers.

IMHO the genetic mixing works quite well with two exceptions: Protruding ears are never passed on, and the nose is most of the time much narrower than the parents’ noses. Of course my sims have almost every time giant nozzles and jug ears, so this is annoying.

Otherwise I see much potential here, and in fact I used two of them and didn’t correct anything with sliders except for the ears and in one case the nose width.
