Thank you so much, @theskeletongames for making him, I absolutely love him and he already has a spot on my bed. Having him arrive after a chaotic week is exactly what I needed. He is perfect and absolutely HUGE and I have cuddled him so much in the few minutes I have pulled him out of his bag.
Definitely one of my best purchases ever. Thank you so much!!!

Coming out of the underground had been everything they ever dreamed it would be. The bright sun, the beautiful sky, the sparkling ocean, the rolling hills, and the bustling city. Everything was as they thought it would be, but it was hard to move into a society as a new, small minority, that was just so different from everyone else. Monsters were people, yes, but the mixed reactions between humans and even the types of monsters were different.
Some humans, who weren't so put off by monsters, would treat Sans like a person: talk to him like normal, treat him like he could think complex thoughts, speak the same language, and feel the same emotions... but sometimes those same humans wouldn't extend that grace to the Whimsums or Moldsmals. Just because they didn't look like humans, didn't mean they weren't people... And eventually, a lot of monsters couldn't really stand it after a while.
Toriel was the first to move out of the city. She left her job to a different monster politician and moved to the countryside with Frisk. Asgore had already been in hiding in the countryside as a gardener and eagerly created a community for monsters beside friendly humans.
It didn't take long for Sans and Papyrus to follow suit, but the hard part was getting used to living out here. The bugs weren't a big issue to them. It's not like they had flesh to bite. The dirt was a little annoying getting between the crevices of their bones sometimes. The distance between places made it difficult for even Sans to keep teleporting everywhere...
But Papyrus really liked it out here. There was a ton of open space, he could be as loud as he wanted to, there were a ton of farm animals for him to take care of, a close-knit community, and he was proud of the things he grew. Sans couldn't really ask for more than his brother's happiness, if he was honest.
Well... except for one thing. Some extra help around the farm. While Sans was strong enough to do the hard labor beside his powerhouse of a brother, he was also still very lazy, much to Papyrus' chagrin. So, they decided it might be time to hire a farmhand.
A week after they put up the help wanted article, a human showed up at their door. Not the first person they expected, but they weren't one to turn someone away just because of species.
They just didn't expect you to be so... experienced.

"WOWIE!" Papyrus was practically sparkling with admiration as you had managed to wrangle in their most difficult horse. A stallion that they had inherited from the previous landowner as a gift of sorts. If they could tame it. "HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD AT THIS?"
You didn't take Papyrus' shouting personally. You figured that all that time in the city probably made him half deaf with how loud it was there. "My grandpa used to say I got a knack for animals." You grinned as you held the horse's reigns, leading it back into the stables for the meantime. "It's just a gift, I guess."
Sans had been mighty quiet since you arrived. More so than he would be willing to admit, and with no one but his brother to call him out on it, you were none the wiser. And as much as Papyrus would love to call his brother out on his very obvious crush with the very capable new farmhand they had, he was also here for the show.
"MAYBE YOU SHOULD SHOW A THING OR TWO TO SANS! THEN MAYBE THE CHICKENS WILL STOP TRYING TO EAT HIM EVERY TIME HE GOES INTO THE COOP!" Papyrus offered, pointing in the general direction of their chicken coop.
You laughed, looking back to a very quiet, staring Sans. "Sure, what do you say, Sans? Maybe I can soften up those hens for you so they won't try and pick you apart."
He mumbled something under his breath with a soft blue blush on his cheekbones before he cleared his throat and straightened himself up again, turning sideways in the doorway to let you lead the way. Meanwhile, Papyrus had a scheming grin on his skull as he waved goodbye to you and Sans.
You really didn't know just how out of character Sans acted around you, because he'd always been this way. Kind of quiet, stared a lot, mumbled a lot, but would tell the occasional joke. He was pretty funny when he finally decided to open his mouth! But you'd been here for almost a month now, and Papyrus was insistent on the fact that Sans was usually much more talkative with new people. He was the charismatic guy, even if he suggested that Papyrus had many more friends than him.
But considering your first meeting with Sans, you found that surprising, since he didn't say or do much.

"YOU'RE HERE FOR THE FARMHAND POSITION? OH THAT'S PERFECT! YES, I AM THE HUMBLE PAPYRUS!"
Sans could only really hear his brother from this far away. He was behind the house, trying to fix one of the planks in the porch that was sticking out. It was fine before the summer storm not too long ago, but he thinks something in the wind might have ripped a jutting nail out.
"YES, MY BROTHER IS CURRENTLY IN THE BACK FIXING THE PORCH - BUT YOU SEEM VERY CAPABLE!... OH, YOU SPECIALIZE IN ANIMAL CARE TOO? WONDERFUL, WE'LL SEE WHAT WE CAN GET YOU STARTED ON ASAP!"
Hmm, sounds like their new hire was going to stay hired. Looks like Papyrus liked your vibe.
"SANS!" Papyrus called from the front of the house, and Sans finally sighed, standing up and dusting himself off before he went around to take a look at the new person.
You were a head taller than him, your form obviously having seen the hard work of a farm, a large-brimmed hat on your head, and a farmer's tan on your skin. You turned to look over your shoulder at him, first with a slightly weary look in your eyes - before it softened into something that made his ribcage tighten.
oh man, you could toss him over your shoulder, and he would not complain.
He was not expecting that to be the first thought in his mind as he met you, Papyrus speaking - introducing you - but Sans wasn't really listening if he was honest. He was busy reeling over his own mind tripping up like that with someone he just met.
You held your hand out to him for a handshake, and you didn't notice, or noticeably didn't really care, about the way that his shrunken eye light flickered down to his own hand, hoping, praying, that there wasn't a forgotten whoopee cushion in there, before shaking your hand. Your skin was firm, a few callouses, and your handshake strong.
fuck.
"Nice to meet you, Sans." You said with a small, lopsided grin as you stared at him from underneath the rim of your hat. "I look forward to working with you."
Papyrus watched as Sans' eye light flickered from your hand (thank goodness he didn't have his whoopee cushion prank in his hand because he was working with his tools), to your face, to Papyrus'. He could see his brother's skull slowly morph into realization, and then a shit eating grin behind your back as he swallowed hard.
"nice to meet ya too, sheepheart." oh man. oh man, that was not his best work.
You burst out laughing anyways, and he could feel his soul skip a beat.
