What version of Sans do you think that could be Dust friend and save him?

I was thinking of Fell being a option, but I'm not sure.

If I recall correctly, it’s like semi or dubiously canon that Fell would be involved in helping Dust—but I’m pretty sure the way of ‘helping’ Dust was to judge/kill him if Murder ever lost himself and went too far, ever lost sight of his goal and why he was doing what he was doing.

Pretty sure Murder isn’t involved in Nightmare’s Gang in that timeline, but it makes sense that if Murder and Fell ever made this deal/promise either before Murder is taken by Nightmare or during his time with the Gang, that Fell may want to keep his promise to Dust.

Either it ends with Fell judging Murder as promised, or perhaps Fell takes a page out of Color’s book—how he refuses to kill or make any promise to kill Killer, not even when Killer is in Stage 3, not even when Killer is asking him to, persistent in finding another way—and tries to look for another way to save or help Murder. At least to free him from Nightmare.
