Throw back Thursday to a SWAT medic course I took last year. While I'm not currently with a department or affiliated with a law enforcement agency, I seek out training to increase my knowledge, and broaden my perspective of the industry I work in. I believe it's just as important to know how to fix holes, as it is to make them. Find TCCC courses and learn how to deal with the aftermath of a shooting. Lots of people train for the "before" and "during" of a violent situation, but few follow through and learn how to deal with the aftermath.
