I would love to look back on this at the end of 2025 and see how far we've come, so:

Make Seasonal Blog Changes (instead of monthly)

Continue the Princess Legacy

Follow your WIPs as far as they take you

Ahhhh thank you to @gerbits @tootsquatch and @tipsy-clouds for the tag! I haven't been online much this past week so sorry if I've missed any other messages.

Honestly my biggest thing I wanted to do with the sims was to finish my Bakewell legacy - and I did that over the summer! I think next year I just want to keep posting (semi) regularly and crack on with Angelou's generation of NSB2. My health hasn't been the greatest these past few months so I need to keep that sims/life balance right!

1. Continue building Suncreek

I'm not even gonna have as a goal to complete the whole hood because it's more time consuming than I thought it would be (learned that while remaking Belladonna Cove).

I've realized that the hood map is too big so I need to slice it up into subhoods (kind of like districts, if you've ever played the Urbz).

So I'll need to learn how to make my own terrains in SimCity because we're going full custom up in this bitch. Suncreek will still be the main hood though.

I do not look forward to learning how to use SimCity because I find it confusing but luckily @tvickiesims was sweet enough to share some links and tutorials so hopefully I'll figure it out.

2. Make more Townie Pools

It would be nice to have all the stealth hood sims and sims deleted from meetmetotheriver's cleaned hoods as townie pools just to have it completed so I don't have to think about them anymore. They're such a pain in the ass to make XD

I deleted the university townie pools because while the method I used to add them was quick and easy I wasn't happy with the way the game would assign the sims random hobby badges etc. So I'll need to remake them the slow and tedious way.

3. Remake more Maxis Lots

While I want to focus on my custom hood I still want to make the occasional lot makeover (I mean, that's what I do!).

Sometimes I like to work on a random maxis lot just to get a break from the other projects I'm working on. So that's what'll do when I feel burnt out by Suncreek.

Update the Downloads Page

Create a better tag system + tag page

Finish First Fits Kit for TU-EU

Finish updating meshes for some older conversions

Make more tutorials 4t2 pants conversion - aligning with TS2 waist weight painting in blender (for [extreme] hair movement + clothing) little nuance tutorials existing tutorials in video form (ex: accessory boxes)

Start a LP on Youtube (I keep getting sick and no one wants to hear me cough and wheeze)

Loftier goals:

Create a webpage for sims2tutorials - I have had nothing but issues with tumblr messing up links or removing links entirely. I'll avoid the rant, but it's a PITA!

Learn how to recolor and retexture clothing/hair

Get back into poly reduction

1. Finish the 1st saga of Alternative (Season 2 and Season 3), and also start to make the 2nd saga (Seasons 4, 5 and 6)

4.Having more collabs with friends

Keep it simple:

Build some half-timbered lots for the main street (old town) in Veronaville

Trying to finish the Windenburg road layout | version 1 done

Spend more time on Sims character design drawing

Packing my Sims and some simple recolors to share my CCs here

This year will be miserable and mag -- no wait, enough with the 22 references lol

Actually, I don’t even want to think about what this year will be like. This year, I’ll either complete uni, or drop out. Either way, I’ll be out, thank god, and I kinda can’t wait to find a job. I really want to be a librarian again, I think that was good for me. Anyway, simblr goals! I started this post talking about uni because it’s the number one factor that will affect how much time I’ll be able to spend here and how much I’ll be able to play.

So what are my simblr goals for this year?

I would like to post the rest of Vi’s gen. Then I think I’ll post gen 3 of the lepacy, then gen 6 + 7 of my NSB. And then back to the lepacy. Unless I accidentally start another save.

Finish gen 9 of NSB. I almost wanna say “finish NSB”, the whole thing, but I’m planning some things for the last generation and I might need some more time with that.

Finish gen 4 of lepacy and then maybe I could get 5 and 6 done too.

Continue working on *the* story. You know. The one with Tyler and co. The one I’ve been talking about basically since their generation in the original legacy ended 😂 oh wait oh no this January it’ll be five years since I played the original gen 4 w h a t  I don’t like the natural passage of time

Update my ts4 resources page, at least some parts of it.

Participate in more community challenges, events, tags, whatever. Overall interact with the community more again. Maybe some kind of collabs even? I feel like I’ve become bit of a simblr hermit. It’s always been hard for me to talk to people, but I used to do it more.

(With that being said, please tag me in things, please ask me questions, please be my extroverted/slightly less introverted friend who will adopt me)
