fellas i just watched a horror movie. the old ways, on netflix. 90 minutes. the first 60 or so were only moderately racist (to be expected from an american movie about aztec beliefs) and It Could Have Been A Decent Movie if they stopped at that point.
it couldve been decent. maybe even good. a little predictable, a little hammy, but like. fine. a movie.
and then in the last thirty minutes everything got TURBO RACIST???? its like they couldnt help themselves??? like ohhh we got an hour of american lead relearns that the culture she came from isnt bullshit. now we can play with toys :)

i am genuinely speechless i have NEVER seen a movie take a heel turn like this before. how. who decided this would be a good idea. like i wont claim the first 2/3rds were the most respectful thing ive ever seen but at least it wasnt. that. whaat the fuck. im in disbelief
