It would be better to ask @silverstrike since I got into the triple ship thanks to her and adopted mainly her headcanons (difference is I don't HC Kira as theirs), but I did invent some original stuff myself !

Originally the boys were only interested in Brea and were rivals. Brea originally did not know she was polyamorous (and so didn't they) and she was very upset and nervous because she felt like she was hesitating, both were just so kind and beautiful and she loved them both and- to the point she one day got a breakdown in front of Rian who asked her what's wrong, so she explained him. Rian then tells her she must polyamorous and that himself is (he loves Deet and is pretty sure he still loves Mira, and back when he met Mira and Gurjin he crushed on both before dating her and only feeling friendship for him). That's a total epiphany for the princess who rushes to them and announces them proudly she loves both and can't choose she just wants both of them. They are surprised but accept, as long as they have her, but are still glaring at each other at first. But after weeks of having to be together and find themselves alone together when she is absent, they start to bond too

Neither of them knew they were polyamorous either. It was as much as an epiphany and internal struggle before accepting it. However Rek'yr knew he was bi. Kylan however had never guessed and when he confessed to Naia "No shit dude, I'm just surprised you're not gay"

Brea found out when she caught them making out in private (they weren't sure yet, just testing, just when she walked in) She liked it more than she should have

Kylan is a bard, Rek'yr very good with words, both are poets. They sing and tell poetry to each other and to Brea

As soon as Kylan and Brea find our Rek'yr can't read like I said in another HC post, they immediatly teach him to share their love of the written word with him. He is motivated and serious and quickly learns, both determined to read history, poetry and geography, and to write down his words notably his love words for them

Kylan is a blushing shy nervous mess with bold flirty Brea and Rek'yr surrounding him teasing him and complimenting him

Rek'yr would also flirt and love to fluster both by teaching them the desert ways or how to use a weapon "you hold the saber straight and firmly~" "you should be careful when the dune is smooth or you might collapse under it, it is jealous of the smoothness of your skin" etc

Brea keeps surprising both of them them with her wittiness, her temper, her ruses and her flirts which can sometimes come out of nowhere depending of her plans and her impulsive nature. The 2 boys never get bored and generally love it, it makes her charm

Kylan is the switch of the triple relationship. Brea bottoms both. Rek'yr tops both and then lies there proudly and smugly hugging both in each arm

So I have 3 headcanons you must know before explaining the drawing with another headcanon that reunites all of 3 :

1) even if UrSkeks don't die of old age and cease aging at some point, 1000 years are like 5 years to them biologically speaking

2) I HC NaNol fell in love with SaSan but it wasn't matual sadly for him, she knew and rejected him softly and he understood it. Resulting in UrNol to have a chaste crush on UrSan and SkekNa to be a stalkish clingy yandere to SkekSa

3) @silverstrike's HC here but I loved it a lot : SaSan had a child (I made her a toddler daughter named EiAn) she raised alone and she was a Pirate to make sure to be rich so she could have a great future. Unfortunately SaSan was caught and banished without ever seeing her again, she never got to kiss or hug her one last time. Resulting in SkekSa to feel the need to patron the Sifas and UrSan to tend to temporarily kidnap kids, even if none of them remember why

Now you know those :

After the movie, NaNol returns to their homeworld crippled, frowned upon the society that seeks pefectiok now he lacks an eye and an arm and was a banished, deeply guilty and troubled for what SkekNa did, and SaSan died. But he then remembered she told him she had a daughter. And she couldn't be there to take her back ! No way to let the daughter of his late love live alone ! He started roaming all orphanages until he found Eian. 2000 years passed, she was now a preteen with abandonment issues who had lost all hope. He took her in and became her guardian. At first she was reticent, and he was awkward since he was single without having ever planned to have a child with him and that before being banned he was just a party animal with his botanist job as only responsibility. Her attention perked up when he toldher about her mother she had almost no memories of but she had mixed feelings about her too "if she weren't pirating around I would still be with her..." NaNol argued with that the best he could. But eventually they actually slowly formed a father-daughter bond. She has abandonment issues so she can't be alone for days so he can't go around alone too long like he used to, but he starts being ready for anything for her. He teaches about plants and they like gardening, making tea and having tea parties together. They give each other hugs they had missed so much, He does his best as a botanist to pay her the future SaSan wanted, people look down at them for her being a pirate's daughter with no father and who grew in an orphanage and for him a former banished as well as a crippled man but he gives the best middle fingers with his remaining 3 hands and his mechanical hand, he cherishes pics of her as a baby since he never knew her like that and wants to see how she was to try to imagine seeing her grow up... and wishing he could have been there for SaSan if he had known her before maybe and not do the shitty thing that had him banished so he could have taken care of her with no bad orphanage in the way
