Walter Silverscream, Dreadful Director:
What he might be in: Balan Wonderworld.
Background:
Once a struggling director of horror films, Walter Silverson tried something new, out of desperation: A love story (with a slight horror twist: It was about a woman who died in love, and came back as a ghost to be with the man she loved).
Problems occurred throughout the filming (people getting sick or injured), and people, at first, were panning it before it even hit theaters.
Then, one day, on the premiere, Walter himself wound up dead in an accident. Walter died thinking himself a failure.
In a twist of spectacular irony, the film was a HUGE success. Years later, Walter returned, terrorizing people on the movie lot, in the theater, and other places, including haunting himself during the production earlier.
Ultimately, some folks brought Walter to the second re-screening, showing him that he DIDN’T die a failure. Satisfied that he was, in the end, a success, he moved on, peacefully, to the afterlife.
How he is like me: Sometimes, I’m worried about how things will work out. For example, my fan fictions: I’m worried that if I actually published them as anything other than fan fictions, I’d get into trouble with copyright. Also, I worry about things like the pandemic and the election and other stuff like that.

Silverson Mixer In Action:
With the help of this Weg CFW10 frequency drive, I am able use 110v power to vary the speed of this 3-phase 1/3hp motor. Full regular speed (3450rpm for this motor) happen when the Weg send 60.0Hz power. You can over drive the motors with up to 120Hz and get double the rated speed, but I wouldn’t do it for long periods of time.
Speed calculations are made as such:
(screen readout/60) * rated speed of motor

Silverson Mixer Coupler: Part 4
To protect the aluminum adapter plate from the chemical vapors given off during the mixing process, I made a stainless steel protective shield.
To mount the motor and mixer to a standard chemist’s setup, I put v-grooves with tapped holes on either side of the aluminum adapter. Two pieces of 1/2″ stainless steel round stock bolt to these grooves. To ensure that the v-grooves are parallel, I used the existing 56C mounting holes and some parallels to align to the square bolt pattern.
